Ive only been with them for a few short weeks and I will say this company is amazing. I have never felt so comfortable and respected as a driver as I do here. The atmosphere they have developed here is amazing. The biggest problem with the industry is you have "driver managers" trying to micro manage what you do on the road and how you drive. Here you have a dispatcher. Literally they give you a load and you deliver it on time. Since I started driving I have not worked for a company where I didn't feel stressed everyday. With this one I can't wait for my 10 hours to be up so I can drive more. This is the way the job should be. If you are sick of being abused you need to check them out.

We have been with Coastal since April 2016 and I cant sing their praises loud enough. We did take a couple of detours through the years to try our hand in owning our own truck and Coastal was 110% supportive of our endeavors, wished us well and always said the door is always open if you ever want to come back. As you can see - we came back every time. We have learned our lesson and will never leave Coastal again until we retire from over the road for good. You can look far and wide but you will not find a finer man to work for than John Dunard and our fabulous team of professionals. If you are looking for a family feeling company - this is it. They just don't get any better than this. Our dispatchers are the best - they do not micro-manage you, as long as you do your job and be on time, you pretty much run your truck your way. Coastal is our retirement home - absolutely zero complaints about this fabulous company. They are a 10 star company in my opinion. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Update to the update, we had to depart, somethings have changed there, people are nice amd friendly, but we had to leave. If you like to run and go to California and Pennsylvania a lot then you will love it. I have nothing bad to say about them. Wishing you all well. Thank you for the time. Update, almost 2 yrs here now, and yes there are some issues, but nothing major, I'm a picky person and hard to please, but for the most part they do tey to keep me happy, and that says a lot. They run tight schedules that's the only thing I don't like, I feel rushed most of the time, I'm told that if the s hedule is too tight then we just reschedule, and that's fine, but I never feel good about doing that, I'm not a speed demon,and I don't try to burn the rig up while running it I'm more of a easy come easy go when behind the wheel.,I need money just like anyone else ,but I'm not trying to die making it.All in all thats really the only issue I have, well , that and some office personell seem very complacent to run like it's 1980 again,I'm not good with that, but everything is ok here over all

I talked with a recruiter and a driver. Very nice and seem honest. I'm impressed with their equipment. Attractive looking trucks and trailers. They stand out. I see them out there. I put 4 stars because I haven't actually applied yet, I'm too busy doing local hauls up North right now, but plan to move down South next year. I'll pop in and see...maybe join the team.

I worked with these fine folks for a year. The lanes they worked, just wasn't working for me any longer. If there's a mold on how to run a trucking company, these folks created it and do it 100% right. From the owner on down, the driver is well taken care of. When it comes to maintaining the equipment, Matt is hands down the best in the industry. I've been in the industry for 20 years. They simply know what they're doing.
