Current lease driver. Been here 3+ years. I started with a used truck, just to get a feel for the company. Moved into a brand new truck (actually the exact truck I saw on the dealership lot and called them to say I wanted) after about 6 months. Regardless of what all the negative reviews say, they DO treat me like family. Harvey himself has never hesitated to take time out and speak with me regarding any and all questions or suggestions I’ve had the entire time I’ve been with the company. I get home when I ask to be (usually a day early, actually) as well as occasionally pass through the house with a load. I’ve NEVER been threatened with being fired or punished/charged any money for rejecting a load that wasn’t profitable for my business, or safe/legal to run with my available hours of service. If I go home and something happens, they’ve worked with me with ZERO penalty. If you READ the lease before you sign it, everything is spelled out as it is expected. EVERY company has good and bad practices, but the good vastly outweighs the bad with EOS. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been here as long as I have. I haven’t seen or been given any indication that they don’t want me to be successful in completing my lease purchase and owning the truck. Maintenance, washes, repairs, etc are NOT directly paid from earnings. EVERY lease has a maintenance escrow that pays for everything in regard to maintaining the truck. As far as the pay is concerned, I’ve been averaging ABOVE what they advertise on a consistent basis for more than a year. In the 3+ years I’ve been with the company, my gross yearly earnings have increased every year, regardless of the freight market. However, I’m a VERY conservative business owner. I run my truck for optimum fuel economy, as well as utilize my own cards for fuel purchases and discounts. All that being said, it is VERY possible to be profitable and successful at EOS if you are a responsible business person. They give you the tools. What you do with them is up to you!

Not a good company to work for. They tell you the majority is drop & hooks with 2500-3000 miles a week which is a lie and you have to deal with the broker's which they demand you do or you get fired. You have to download tracking apps which gives broker's access to your phone and they will call you all hours of the day & night. You are required to pay a deposit when you're hired to cover the truck (cleaning deposit) so if/when you leave which you will leave you will never get back even if the truck is clean when you leave so kiss that deposit good bye. Very argumentative and God knows they're never wrong. Basically you the driver are an idiot. My first dispatcher was a jerk who finally was fired and the female dispatcher was nice for a while and that went down hill. They start out nice and helpful for 6 months and then they talk down to their drivers and treat them like a child. When it's time to go home they try to send you the opposite direction. If you're broke down and waiting on repairs within a few miles of their only terminal where they have a hotel to put you up in and don't even offer it while letting you pay for your own hotel (5 days) and never call to check on the driver or if the truck repairs are done. We never received any breakdown either. They don't care about their drivers at all. I DO NOT recommend this company! If I could choose "0" stars that's what they deserve.

One of the worst companies I've ever worked for they take more than you make so you have to stay out. Never get a chance to get home. I had to leave on circumstances beyond my control and they took every bit of my last check.. if I could give him no stars I would. They talk about communication never communicated. They still owe me for detention and layover and I will never get that. Sell your truck that has tires they're near DOT specs and then when you have a tire that fails after your 30 days of bumper to bumper warranty it went bad had an air hose go bad had to pay to get that replaced. Stay away from this company.

I have not worked for this company, but I did apply and got approved to work with them. I had a hiring date of March this year. I had some personal things I had to take care of prior to starting as they would not allow me to start. So the date was changed to the month of April. I then decided to read the reviews. Called them and told them I had decided not to work for their so called family business. This was a week prior to my start date. My reason was they fire people because a personal matter, plus although a contract is signed the company goes and takes the truck from where it is parked. They do not care if your things are in it. This was about three weeks ago. Today April 6 2024 I received an email that they would not ever hire me because of some report. I wasn’t going to work for them anyway. I had already declined their job. This company is not what they say they are. All I know is the after reading the reviews, talking to some of their current drivers, and now this email. I sure am glad I did not make that move! Beweary if you choose to work for them!!!!

I worked for EOS as a company driver for ten months . This is Probaly the worst experience I’ve had as company driver. This company is very unorganized. Most of the shippers , brokers and receivers hate dealing with EOS dispatch. I’m not gonna mention her name but if you’ve worked here you’ve probably experienced the same issues. That being said the job itself is free labor . You haul trash cardboard paper recycling and paper rolls. That means you clean trailers all the time for free. Also means you sit and wait alot! The trailers you pull are junk in need of repairs. The company office is positive and happy with a brand new office building having lunch parties. Meanwhile drivers are knee deep in scrap chip paper like for example Macon Georgia where they purposely leave 3 ft of wet paper you can’t blow it out with a blower , you got to get in there with a broom and your hands and scoop it out . Remember you don’t get paid for this it’s all free labor . Orientation they put me up nicely fed me two meals a day . Then in orientation I was given a contract to sign that stated i would have to stay 90 days or forfeit my wages. Pretty much went to hell during orientation all the red flags came out but I was there and I needed money . They knew that and were prepared to hold that piece of cheese over my head like I was a mouse . Thats what it felt like . Nothing worse than going home on the holidays after working two months straight then they hold my pay telling me they’ve been burned in the past . I’m at home I want my money . I had to cut my hometime short to have pay released . I should have quit but I didn’t cause I’m not a job jumper . Everyday was worse than the last , I was conditioned to hate my job at EOS . It’s almost like they went out of there way to make life more miserable for me. At least that’s how I felt working here. I never complained nor did I have any arguments with dispatch i felt if I did I would be punished somehow . After working here 9 months I was called into the office to meet with the operations manager and my dispatcher who threatened to fire me saying I cost them more money than I was making them . I wasn’t getting 3000 miles a week therefor I was gonna be fired unless something changed on my end . Now for starters I’m a company driver forced dispatch , I’ve never turned down a load always delivered on the time I was given to deliver . Somehow I was supposed to do better and it was all up to me . Operations supervisor even gave me his personal number to contact him if I wasn’t getting the miles. lol my next load 300 miles then 400 miles then 200 miles . Was this a cruel joke being played on me no it was the reality of a disorganized chaotic work environment where management had failed on so many levels that blame had to be placed somewhere let’s put it on the drivers . They didn’t give a damn about me nor did they expect me to stay . Most of their drivers quit two weeks in I stayed 10 months . The day I left there were 28 trucks being cleaned prepared for the next group of drivers what does that say. They say they’re not like mega companies in fact they’re worse. At least you know what to expect when you work for a large trucking carrier . EOS portrays itself as a driver focused company when in reality drivers are expendable to them . Benefits were horrible aswell . Literally no positives working here . I’m thankful for the experience at least that’s how I’m looking at . What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger !
