This was one of my most seamless moves ever. Spoke to Eric a couple of times to finalize on the quote , the time of the move. The movers came in and loaded / unloaded while driving a 1000ft truck to the destination from San Francisco which was 40 miles away. The entire process was super seamless without even a single instance of any discrepancy , stress or confusion. Highly recommend Good Green movers.

Used Good Green Moving last year to move out of one building in SF and into another one just across the street (literally less than a mile). Was not aware that they'd be sending movers from their warehouse in Petaluma. The move was scheduled for early in the AM, so they drove in through traffic for which I was charged double time, and they arrived over an hour late for my move-out window. My starting building had a really strict time window for loading the truck, which we went over and for which I was fined (the building later waived the fine due to the fact that we tried to clear out quickly, but the fact that it took the two movers more than 3 hours to pack up a 1bd house that I had already mostly cleared myself and moved out in the weeks before is insane. My building managers commented on how they'd never seen movers go so slow). The whole service came out to almost double the quoted cost. It was outrageous. On top of this, the movers broke the stand for my keyboard (piano). I was particularly distraught about this because it belonged to a late friend of mine. Only one of the movers was lifting it and he was struggling to pack it into the truck and the pedals on the bottom snapped and the center support was also badly cracked after the fact. I had to stop him and call attention to it as I happened to be walking by as he was loading it and he hadn't noticed the snag causing the break. Good Green also offers plastic moving boxes to rent during the move. A driver came by to drop them off and (this is somewhat comical and not strictly his fault) he came in and absolutely annihilated my bathroom both during the drop off and pick up of the boxes. When you have to go you have to go, but I can't believe that happened both times. I wouldn't have taken such a note of it if I wasn't so incensed about the service to this point. The boxes that they dropped off were also either covered in dirt or filled with still water from when they last washed them. Unstacking the boxes in my apartment actually created a huge mess and I had to wipe down some of the boxes myself because they were filthy. Overall, attention to detail, speed, and general transparency with the moving process were miserable here. I would leave two stars because the people I interacted with were at least kind, but having precious belongings broken and having a bill that is almost 1.5x the quote left an incredibly sour taste in my mouth. I'm writing this review a year later as I'm about to move again and finally feel comfortable voicing my experience now that I'm a bit more removed from the final bits of contacting them. I don't have any interest in further contact but felt it worth taking the time to at least urge Good Green to do better. I took this long to pen this review so I could write something with a clearer head. Would absolutely avoid using these guys again. If you're in SF, pick someone more local to save yourself a ton of cost, and certainly spare yourself a lot of grief when it comes to keeping your belongings safe.

Good Green Moving helped my elderly parents for a short haul move. They were extremely professional, capable and helpful during the process. Eric was very communicative and responsive. We were very happy with the care they took with our furniture as well as our parents! In addition, the cost was affordable and understandable! Both the movers and Eric were available after hours to respond to questions. I would highly recommend this business. Thank you Eric and team!

If you value being treated with respect and your objects to remain clean during your move, don't hire this company. I would not recommend this moving service to anyone. The owner Jonathon is nice over the phone and once he delivered bad service all he did was make excuses for his lack of quality and gaslight me. His workers are kind and hardworking, although they definitely pace themselves as you are billed hourly for their service. However, I appreciate the fact that the movers are paid well. They did the bare minimum to protect the walls and floors, and still ended up scuffing some of my walls. They also broke some of my own bins in transit. They delivered me dirty bins, every single one was covered in a layer of black and brown dust, and not only was ever crevice of the bins dirty, the insides were not cleaned either. After they moved the bins out of my old place, my floor was covered in that dirt and was so filthy. The least a moving company can do as a service is provide clean bins especially during a pandemic, but they didn't even bother to check the bins they delivered, there was residue, grease stains, and debris in all the boxes. Even after wiping it down 3 times with a disinfecting wipe it was still coming up black. I will never use this company again, even though Jonathon was very responsive he tried to downplay the entire situation and patronize my by explaining the process and costs that go into his business. He explained to me that they are changing their bin storage method, which doesn't affect my experience in getting absolutely screwed over by his company's mistake.

We had a great experience with Good Green Movers! They were very responsive to all of our requests and did a really excellent job with the actual move. They were incredibly professional and were able to help us pack the items and move difficult pieces without any issues, in one day. I chose Good Green because of their efforts to keep moving as sustainable as possible. They provided reusable hard plastic totes that they take back and clean after the move. In addition to being reusable the totes also saved so much time from assembling boxes and did a much better job at keeping our items safe! The packing material they provided was recyclable paper which did well protecting even our most fragile glasses. After the move Good Green took back everything for reuse or recycling. Overall, we had a really great experience! It is a little on the pricey side but it was absolutely worth it for their amazing service!
