HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Because there is a length limit I have to make this short, but know that there was a lot more than what I am can write here. The company was a nightmare from start to finish! This was the worst moving experience I've ever had and I’ve moved a lot during my time in the military. These guys showed up unprepared and ended up being veeeerrryyy unprofessional. When I asked the guys to (do what they came to do) they answered: Wear shoe coverings - No Assemble the furniture - No Take the dressers upstairs - No Remove/unwrap the furniture – No Handle my things with care - No Finish the job - No Common human curtesy and respect? NO! LIKE A FROG IN A POT OF BOILING WATER. If I had known everything from the start, I would not have let them start the job! First it was the shoe covers, I cave and allow it, Then it was no assembly even though it was in the contract. Then the dressers, didn’t bring straps for heavy items because they said they “sold the truck and the straps got left in that truck”... some weird story clearly a lie. Then the mattress gets dirty, I mean, it was one thing after another! And then finally, after they left and I started sorting things I saw that my upholstered rocking chair was dirtied also, with black handprints it the spots they were holding them! I’ve had to hire other movers to finish what I hired Helping Hands Moving LLC / Dennis for so it cost me DOUBLE and A LOT OF TROUBLE! This doesn’t even include the cleaning I’ve had to do of the walls and the white upholstered reclining chair which needs to be professionally cleaned now bc it has dirty hand prints on it’s sides. DENNIS SUGGESTED I “USE A MAGIC ERASER” TO CLEAN THE UPHOLSTERED CHAIR. YES THAT IS WHAT THE MEN SUGGESTED, A MAGIC ERASER ON FABRIC! UNREAL!!! IN THE END: Job was left unfinished, Furniture was dirtied, I was insulted and yelled at, I ended up out $400 and still had to hire other movers $300 additional to finish the job bc he would not send men here to finish the job. He said to me over text that he has a “phenomenal crew but they are always in Miami I would love to send them but they are never free.” WHAT? WHO SAYS THAT?! He also said “I’ll make sure we have the correct equipment for our next customers. And sorry about before. I have no filter sometimes and I got a little upset.” Unprepared for the work: You’d think it’s moving 101: bring proper equipment! This was some sort of amateur hour but worse, filled with insults and aggression! Incomplete Service: DID NOT FINISH THE JOB. The two restoration hardware bedroom dressers were left in my hallway and living room “BECAUSE THEY WERE HEAVY”. Rude and Unprofessional: When I called to address issues, Dennis insulted me, called my furniture junk. HE SAID THEY “DON’T’ ASSEMBLE JUNK” YEP, THOSE WERE HIS WORDS referring to my guest room ikea bed frame! Mind you the rest of the furniture was not ikea and they did not assemble that either! Dirty Handling: My furniture was stained from dirty hands. Overcharged: I was also charged more than the original quote and a lot more than what Dennis promised directly. I have pictures (with time stamps) and statements of everything and I will be filing a complaint with all that documentation with BBB. Disrespectful: The overall attitude was dismissive, unhelpful and very aggressive, making the whole process extremely stressful. "Unfortunately, people take kindness as weakness, so they decided to take advantage of that." This experience was unacceptable, I feel completely taken advantage of, exploited and fooled! THAT WAS MY WELCOME TO FLORIDA! This is unacceptable for a business “claiming” 14 years of experience which I highly doubt is true! There are so many ways to game the system nowadays. This man is a Trickster, Swindler, Con-Artist, Fraudster, Charlatan, Deceiver, Scammer, Cheat, Crook, Hustler, Fraud and Rude & Aggressive! There are not enough words to describe him and his company! Save yourself A LOT OF TROUBLE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. TON OF OTHER MOVERS TO HIRE!

I have used this wonderful company numerous times for moving & labor. They always go above & beyond my expectations. The owner Dennis is honest & reliable. I can't say enough about him & his workers. You will NOT be disappointed, This is an exceptional moving company. I highly recommend!

I have lived in 8 different states in my adult life and have always dreaded the moving company. Most are handled by 3rd party brokers which means lack of communication in instructions and requests. Helping Hands is so different, you get to deal with them directly if you choose to. Dennis the owner is just simply outstanding to deal with. I have used Helping Hands on a number of occasions to move stuff for my Mom, my business and my personal items. Forget the big hyped commercial companies you see on television. Dennis and his staff are outstanding, they take pride in what they do....something most businesses don't do anymore.

Our close friends used Helping Hands Moving and referred them to us, and I understand why. Our 4 man crew were fantastic. Hard-working, experienced, careful and all gentlemen. We enjoyed their company! Dennis keeps the business-end very simple and there were absolutely no surprises. Just honest, hard-working people.
