If you’re a single woman living alone, I strongly advise against using this company. It’s not safe—book elsewhere. I’m still gathering more evidence, but even what I’ve uncovered so far is alarming. Beyond the damages they caused, I’m missing a makeup bag with expensive products, and it’s clear they brought their girlfriends into my home. I’ll provide more details later with videos, but the situation is worse than I initially realized. The owner’s attempt to “resolve” everything by waiving a small fee I didn’t even owe was insulting. I’m beyond frustrated, and as I unpack, I keep finding more issues. I’m now determined to stand up for myself. 1. They acted like they were doing me a favor because I booked after another company canceled on me last minute. But I was a paying customer, not a charity case. Quoting over $1,000 and still treating me like they were doing me a favor is next-level arrogance. 2. The workers were friendly—too friendly. In hindsight, it seems like a way to take advantage of me. From wasting time with an over hour-long “lunch break” to picking up their girlfriends in the moving truck while I waited for over two hours, it was incredibly unprofessional. My new bathroom was left with used tampons and no soap or garbage bags. They drank on the job, acted like “buddies” instead of professionals, and items went missing. It was a nightmare. 3. At first, I feared for my safety because they didn’t behave like professionals. They brought strangers to my home, so now random people know where I live. Fortunately, I can protect myself now, and I have family nearby. But I want proper action taken for this terrible moving experience. I’ll be sharing a vlog with pictures soon—stay tuned. 4. They promised to fix my broken bed but stopped responding to my emails. I had to fix it myself after three weeks of silence because I wasn’t going to sleep on my couch that long. I bought tools and handled it myself. I’m tired of being toyed with and ignored by companies like this. 5. Missing items include a pack of bottled water (I woke up the next day in my new home with nothing to drink because they took it), an unopened gallon of Arizona fruit punch, and an expensive bottle of tequila. They even asked for a cup after going through my fridge! I was so done by that point that I told them to just take it, as it was almost midnight. Later, I realized my makeup bag was also missing. The final straw was finding my makeup table mirror broken. I’m furious. Did I hire movers or a bunch of thieves? I tried to let things go, but the damages are now costing me more than the move itself. It’s beyond frustrating. This is no longer just a moving issue—it’s a legal matter, and I’m done being pushed around. I sincerely hate leaving bad reviews. But like I said, I just keep finding more and more things. It would be a disservice to myself and others consumers if I allowed myself to be silenced. And I tipped 100$ because I’m not an ungrateful customer. But I am a customer that wasn’t treated as such.

As a business owner myself I dislike leaving bad reviews but I cannot in good faith not say anything. DO NOT HIRE! I NEVER leave negative reviews but we paid in total $3,800 when we were quoted $2,400.00 after MULTIPLE conversations with staff prior to move over three weeks in advance. They were behind schedule by 4 hours and damaged our property. I OVER COMMUNICATED the amount of stuff we had and asked if 3 guys would be enough. I was promised 3 guys for a 2BD/2Bath 1,156 square foot apartment pack & move would be fine and the job would be done by 4PM-5PM. That wasn't an issue and I was fine paying $2,400.00 for that. UNFORTUNATELY, I requested arrival time at 8AM to ensure the packing and moving would be started early enough to meet scheduled time frames; the guys showed up at 8:30AM. I explained that they HAD to start moving our stuff into our new condo at 2PM. They said no problem. At 5:46PM I had to call the main office to complain because THEY STILL DIDN'T FINISH AT OUR OLD APARTMENT! They arrived at my new condo at 6PM ( distance from point A to point B is 2.3 miles by the way) and the freight elevator closed at 5PM!!! They didn't finish the move until 8PM!!!! Thank goodness the staff at our new building gave us grace because I am 8 months pregnant; which is the only reason I didn't do it myself. Then, of course we tipped each mover $100 cash because it was the right thing to do EVEN THOUGH we paid a $1,000.00 MORE than what we were quoted. Bleach, toilet brushes, and cleaning supplies WERE MIXED WITH FOOD! 7 glass mugs were broken, the support beams to our bed were damaged, and they didn't pack our fridge or under the sink. They also ate our chips & fruit snacks and I know because we came back during the packing session and saw empty bags of our personal food + they smelled like weed. Might I add, we had no living room furniture except for a TV and TV stand. I am highly disappointed in the quality. I also called to talk to the supervisor and SHOCKER, did not get a call back.

David, Jeff, and Elias showed up promptly and immediately worked directly with us to figure out how best to get things moving. They introduced themselves, made us feel comfortable, and even asked to play some music so we could all have a good time together! I enjoyed their energy and professionalism, you could tell they do this a lot, and made no mistakes either. 2 hours to move an entire apartment out! I would highly recommend Legacy Moving and David, Jeff, and Elias for your moves!

These are the absolute BEST movers I have ever used!! I have moved 3 times in last three years and only recommend Legacy Moving! Andrew, the owner, is honest and trustworthy and stands by his word. Gabe and his team loaded the truck and took time to wrap everything and carry it carefully to the truck, loading the truck with expertise to maximize space. Gabe and Zane met me in Illinois and unloaded the truck with care to the house and the furniture. The entire crew were polite and respectful. Moving is hard work and they made it seem effortless!! THE BEST!

Gabe and Elias were great. They worked as fast as they could and got the job done. I really appreciated their hard work and trying to get it done fast especially when the other job took longer than expected. I would definitely recommend. Austin was also fantastic when I called he was very helpful on trying to figure out when the truck would be coming since it was running behind.
