We were assigned Nilson for our military international move a few months ago. They moved our household goods and our unaccompanied baggage and did an amazing job. They were very friendly, packed everything with care, and were very thorough with their labeling of the boxes. Our whole house was packed and ready to go within two days! I want to call out Ty specifically, he made the process so much easier than it could have been and was great about answering all of my questions!

If it was possible to give no stars we would. We had multiple broken items, they threw boxes, and left marks on our walls. One of the movers ended up stealing my wife’s wedding ring in our bathroom where they weren’t permitted to be in up stairs. I had them all on camera from my security system in the house and had all the license plate numbers. I called them multiple times being put on hold and leaving voice messages trying to file claims with them and was either turned away or told “what do you want us to do about it.” Do not let this company come near your stuff or enter your home.

We will make sure to request that we prefer not to use this company ever again for a PCS. Worst experience with this military PCS because of this company. Our family has had a few PCS experiences. The claims department is very dishonest and it took almost half a year to complete our claim. They didn't respond to us anytime we reached out. We had to stay on top of them by contacting MCO. If you unfortunately have to use this company, make sure to take plenty of videos and pictures. Check floors under furniture before any movers leave. They tried to deny property damage on a new build that they caused. The movers were dragging furniture on the floors. Boxes and furniture arrived filthy and all banged up. They unwrapped all the furniture that was protected before putting it into their storage for a few weeks. They didn't re-wrap or put back on any protective coverings when it was delivered back to us. So, we received our nice furniture all dirty, scratched up, and a couple of pieces had mold. I am glad we took pictures/videos and did everything timely. We had to get the MCO involved multiple times due to the lack of communication from this company. This was the most stressful PCS we have ever experienced. Moving from overseas was easier than this move because of this company.

Being in the military 23 years this was the worse company that was given to me by the transportation office! I don’t know how this company is still open. They sub contract the movers to a woman who brings her teenager kids to pack and then leave after 2 hours in due to drug issues (yes drugs)! I’ve called and called it took over 6 months to even file the claim and because it was raining after they moved me they put all my items in the garage (full of boxes) bed weren’t put together no dresser mirrors couldn’t find the parts box! This company doesn’t answer the phone and gives excuses for everything! My grandfather worked for Mayflower for over 50years and when they arrived in that truck I was excited but Nilson is not Mayflower! I’ve notified the army transportation office not to use them and will continue to follow up on my complaint!

Wow! This was my Wife’s and I first big move using a moving company, and Angie, Ty, and Kayla exceeded every expectation we had. Ty talked me through every part of the move, showed me the truck, and told me exactly how the unpackers should handle our stuff. Kayla took me through all the paperwork and ensured every single item we had was accounted for and tagged with a corresponding number so we can track it all once we get to our unpacking portion. Angie worked incredibly fast and took extra care of every plate and cup in the kitchen to ensure every item was individually wrapped and secured before packing it. All three of these incredible movers never made assumptions about items and asked along the way if we wanted certain things packed… thanks again Ty, Angie, and Kayla- y’all were amazing!
