I contacted Palmer in April to advise I needed to be out of my residence before the end of June. They advised they had a week in May, but I needed to get my virtual survey done right away. I had to badger and follow up to get my survey results when I never heard anything after a full week (the only negative). However, the price was about the same as they roughly quoted before the survey, when I explained my items on the phone. I was moving less than 10 miles, but Palmer has a 4-hour job minimum, which 3 to 4 is standard for most moving companies (being in the moving industry myself). My job was done in under 3 hours which included wrapping everything, loading the truck, unloading and unwrapping at delivery, setting everything where I wanted, and putting the backs into my couch and recliners. Darryl and Daryl were careful with my items, didn't damage my old residence moving out, or new residence moving in. They were friendly, professional, and knew what they were doing. Since my move was local, it had its own truck and was not lumped in with other moves, which was a huge plus. I had a lot of bulky items, enough to furnish 800 sq ft. It cost $720 to move, not including a tip. It was worth it! My surveyor Tim was clear with his guidelines, and my assigned crew were great too. If I were moving locally again, I would use Palmer and request Darryl and Daryl. If I ever move out of Michigan, I would definitely contact them for an out of state quote and survey.

My wife and I have now used Palmer moving services on three separate occasions. The team is always professional, and takes great care with all of the household items. I would highly suggest Palmer if you are in need of any professional moving services. Prompt and efficient service with a smile.

Had the pleasure of working with 2 of the best last week- Ricky and Kirk!!! They did such a great job that I requested them again for a 2nd day! I cannot say enough good things about them! We have used Palmer for the past 3 moves, and each time it is a FLAWLESS experience. If you care about your "nice things" in a move, no need to worry with Palmer. They wrap everything to avoid any miscues in the moving process. The crews are always very professional and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure a proper placement of all items moved. Don't waste your time on other movers. Palmer is the ONLY choice.
