I can't begin to describe what a disaster my experience with this company was from beginning to end. My Moving Day began with them calling me because they took down the wrong garage door code and I've had this code for over 20 years so I know I gave it to them correctly. That was the first phone call. Then she called me back an hour later to ask me some questions and I told her there was a plant in the kitchen that was overflowing with water and I told her to open the patio door and dump it out on the patio. She said she would do that. They broke three of the blinds in my kitchen and she threw two away and left one on my countertop. So now I have to get them fixed and they will take no responsibility for this ! Then she claims that she called me a couple hours later when the movers were done packing to just check that they got everything, but she never placed that phone call to me because I checked my call log and there was no call from them. Her name was Heather. So they ultimately forgot several items that were on the list and they had to go back from the Batavia to Huntley to get the items they forgot and they and the movers charged me overtime for their mistake! And I have all this in writing with text messages back and forth saying exactly what items need to be moved and yet they obviously didn't pay attention to their notes. Then when I got to my home at The Landings they had just finished unpacking and they charged me for overtime and I have no other option than to pay them so it was $400 over the original estimate and I had to pay the movers over time because of this total screw up on their part! So the whole job cost me so much more than my original estimate because of their mistakes and when I had time to look for things I couldn't find many things and after several days of work here myself I found things that were in totally wrong places, and it was like they had never done this kind of work before. I'm still finding things in the wrong places and some items I haven't found yet. I've tried talking to them and explaining my side of the story and their answer was that they were not responsible for any of the damage to my house or the increase in price. My advice to all is to stay away from this company! I am stuck with having to repair my kitchen blinds so I can sell my house and they will take no responsibility, and what disturbs me the most is they deny everything and lie about what went on that day. And they won't even reply to my texts or emails Just an addendum to this review, they replied with their standard answer that they Pride themselves. But I have tried calling both Heidi and the company and they still deny everything and take no responsibility for their mistakes end the exorbitant charges they added to my bill. So it cost me over 1300.00 for this move that was totally screwed up from beginning to end. So stay away from this company!

A friend suggested that I check out Paxem for our recent move. Everything happened like we were told… no breakage, no hassle with the move and they even came back ro help us rearrange where we had changed our minds. Our move was a few miles but our friends moved cross country. They are great people to work with!

Paxem recently assisted in my dad's move to an active independent living community. From our first encounter with the Paxem crew I could tell that Paxem is a quality organization. Heidi and Cindy met with us at my dad's former apartment and measured everything. From that step Cindy drew floor plans of the new apartment and included the furniture my dad would be able to move. Cindy patiently drew multiple floor plans until my dad was happy with the layout. Sally at Paxem made arrangements for the movers to take the few pieces of furniture that were not moving to the new residence. Erin and the other packers did an excellent job of packing and unpacking everything and nothing was broken! Erin went above and beyond in the help she provided. The packers even took away all the boxes and trash! The movers that Paxem hired were also excellent. It was a total team effort and Paxem is definitely a company that I am happy to recommend to you. The move went seamlessly and their were no unpleasant surprises. Thank you Paxem!

Horrible experience,was at estate 4/20/24 paid for sunglasses I never got$40.00 told the lady to hold them for me went back with two more items paid $100.00 total,went to the car no sunglasses,went inside three times I told the owner nothing happened.I said forget this is not worth it! Lady (owner) I am business owner my self letting you know I am not here to scam you,maybe you should hire employees to paid attention and not talking while they should be doing their job!The sunglasses were on the side never place inside my bag and the other employee pick them up and put them back for sale,that’s what happen! Next time be more understanding!
