This moving company packs and moves your possessions. They disassemble and break things and don't reassemble, regardless of the full move agreement signed. They also do NOT do insurance claims as listed on the agreement. They give a difficult time even giving the documents for the claim and then just say the insurance hasn't gotten back to them every time. It's been 2 years and they're still saying this. The insurance is fraud at this point.

I have to re-review this - Moved my whole house and furniture and packed great people - great company I’d recommend ✅first time great - this second time charged me as much for 2 days as with only 2 helpers - as he charged for 5 helpers to pack my whole house for 3 days. Broke a mirror and dented my brand new wood floors with damage of approximately $5000 and I will have to get an attorney involved because Richard doesn't care. His supervisor laid on my front porch for literally 6 hours I called Richard and he said don't worry he'll be fine then he actually charged me for the guy to lay down on the job - he charged my card the first day and I thought fine that wasn't so bad no contract no written anything - then that night he double charged me I called him and he tried to justify it - unbelievable. NO do not use Beattie Moving unless you want awful service with no care in what they do. I was also told only 1 day but since the supervisor laid down on the job the two other guys couldn't get it down - I had someone come help them that Richard didn't pay or give me a credit for without the other guy helping it would have never gotten done - the two other guys did a good job but it was a 4 man job so extremally poor planning on Richard's part the owner. Plus he's other excuse was he had 19 move going that day - Not sure he didn't understand each person only cares about their job. I'd say thumbs down stay clear he will rip you off.

Extremely unprofessional and non-responsive. If I could give this company zero stars I would do so. I met with the owner of the company to discuss a move. We agreed on a price and the dates of the move. I requested to have insurance coverage for the move to which he said would cost more money and I agreed to the increase in cost. They damaged numerous items during the move so I asked about filing a claim. His first response was to be angry at me and say I did not have insurance coverage. When I showed proof of the coverage, he then asked me to do research on each damaged item to get a replacement/repair cost. I did this within 1 week and sent the information to him. He then informed me that I had a deductible on the coverage which had never been discussed nor marked on the contract. I have tried almost weekly to get in touch with this company and they will not respond. I have written the BBB as they indicate on their marketing materials that they are BBB+ certified (what a joke) as the BBB says they cannot get a response from them either. How you can claim something that is not true and put it out to the public is beyond me. The move was 3 months ago and I still have not heard anything or received any $ to replaced the damage his company did to my belongings. Do not use this company to move anything for you or you will be sorry! They are the most unprofessional and non-trust worthy group I have ever met in all my years of work. It has been some time since using this sorry excuse for a company and the miserable human beings that own it. Wanted to repost to hopefully get this to the top of the list so more people will know they are horrible and to not use them under any circumstances!

Do NOT use this company! First, one of his workers broke into my locked jewelry cabinet and stole several pieces of jewelry. I informed the owner who said it wasn't his problem. The owner changed the payment terms on the day of the move. After I made a payment it was as if I was dealing with a completely different person. The movers broke several pieces of furniture and generally don't care about your belongings. After the move started, the owner was very rude and mean with me. To this day they still haven't returned several items which include a leaf blower and step-ladder which they took. So, don't use this company unless you want your items stolen, broken, and missing!

THE WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER!!! Beattie is a THIEF! Original cost to move from St. Cloud to Gainesville was $5600 plus $700 per month for storage. Beattie told us we would pay Hal of the $5600 when they picked up our furniture and the remaining amount once it was delivered. That wasn’t the case. Beattie wanted the total amount up front. We had our furniture in his storage for 2.5 months. He charged us $850 a month including our half last month. Before my furniture was delivered he demanded we pay another $5600. He was holding our furniture hostage and he kept charging our credit card the $850 for storage. Once our furniture was delivered, piece of furniture was broken, scratched and nicked. Our white leather sofas had mold. I’m totally disgusted with them! Don’t use them!
