In reading the reviews, I noticed that most people talk about their specific experience using Safe Side Transportation I'll be honest, I was a little confused about their operation. I thought they were a business with employees who are carriers. My understanding now is they are a brokerage firm. They take your call, quote you a price and then place your job to a board for carriers to pick up. These carriers are independent contractors, not Safe Side employees in many cases. This is not a complaint, just my understanding of how they work. It does lead to concerns about quality control and this is probably why when you read their reviews they are all over the map. Some people are extremely satisfied and others feel like there is no communication. I have a feeling that once the carrier picks up the job, SST wipes their hands of the transaction and has minimal involvement. The deposit is how SST makes their money - the balance is what gets paid to the carrier - this is the person responsible for the care of your delivery. How they communicate may be largely different from carrier to carrier. I don't know how or if Safe side Transportation Inc vets their carriers to ensure they are all high quality. It would be nice if you could rate both the SST experience and the carrier experience. Just some forewarning of how their business operates if you care to know. The main thing is Adam is so professional and experienced agent , make this shipment set up quickly.

I recommend Safe Side Transportation to everyone who in need of transportation. I got my Tesla Model S shipped to TX without any problems. The agent I was working with was professional and did awesome job! Will use these guys in the future

After I broke down with my car in Santa Rosa, CA due to bad weather condition, I contacted Safe Side Transportation and Adam handle all the paperwork, and after just a few days my car was in Houston, TX Their prices are reasonable, I will use them again if I need to.

Overall experience wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. First time using a car transport company and my first lesson is that everyone you work with is a BROKER. The price they give you is NOT going to be the price you pay. It is a bidding industry meaning the brokers will turn around and get bids for the job of transportin your car. They willthe price without your knowledge until someone accepts it. So it doesn’t matter if you are proactive and plan weeks or months in advance. They will HAVE TO WAIT until the last minute to get a bid. Here’s my experience, you be the judge. Nov 13: gets $250 offer for job Nov 13: accepts Nov 14: sends contract, and fills out contract same day Nov 20: follows up on request and Daniel ask me for the same questions, forgetting who i was and i had to send pictures of the contract. He remembers and ask yes it’s still processing and confirms nov 27th pickup. I said no, the 28th. Nov 26: follow up again and he responds with. HelloThank you We don't know the exact time yet, it's usually known in the morning on the day of pick up, because drivers can't plan the exact time 2-3 days in advance, I'll let you know as soon as I get this information, don't worry Nov 27: at 5pm he says I just found a driver for tomorrow pick up and delivery next day for $525. Do you think we can book it and send you the driver info so you can talk to them? I asked why it was so expensive and learned that they are brokers and this is how much people charged for my job. Nov 28: there was a lot of back and forth and silence. Then he said at the lat minute. They are offeering now to drivers $600 and drivers don't accepting my price $300. I didn’t trust him because he wasn’t getting back to me and then said: Please never sign any other contract with 2 or 3 companies at the same time. We all companies work under one Global system. That means if I have a driver, the other company will have the same driver, too. The only problem with that is if I am posting it for $900, the other company will post it for $1000, and the other will post it for $1100. In this way, prices will go up. So, only stick with one company that you have signed with. Never sign with more than 1 company to avoid the price increase. Then finally he said I just found for today pick up and delivery by tomorrow for $625. And we booked it because i had no choice and i was flying out that evening.

Anthony did a fantastic job of transporting my F350 and unloading it. He was very polite and professional. Once I had direct contact with him, he was quick to respond with updates. The truck arrived safely and without any damage. I would definitely use this combo again. Well done.
