It’s hard to make a decision to choose a company to shipping my car from Auckland to Australia. After some market research,, I choose Taurus to do this job. They give a reasonable quote , they also have a long history and professional knowledges back up for this case. All the staffs work there are quite patience and nice to answer my questions and email. Although I need wait my car for twice times inspect and quarantine in Australia, it’s take a while. They still doing good job to solve all the problems during the export and import processing. Thanks to all the Taurus staff both work at New Zealand and Australia. They are excellent ! Definitely highly recommend!

Poor service, my shipment got delayed nearly a month from Auckland to Sydney and they don’t update until you follow up. Additional charges on quote when delivery was clearly specified. I paid A$150 for charges and they came back asking for additional fee of same amount. For a 12km delivery they charge A$300 due to fuel adjustment factor by their agent (100% increase).The charges were clearly discussed on the time of quote however things have changed when vehicle is cleared. I paid additional for delivery and asked to update when my vehicle will be delivered but no response. At the time of sale, quotes are timely but when business is given service is poor. Just give up!

We choose Taurus because of their website claims. I agree that they outline the costs to send a vehicle internationally quite well and their staff are informative and responsive to start with. Unfortunately, then the process appears to deteriorate. The words (on arrival in a foreign port), failed the inspection for cleaning, and was charged $400 for the clean? (even though we took their advice and cleaned the car before collection) could be confused with fumigation, if we had been told this,(fumigation not cleaning) we would have been more understanding, as we collected the car and it was filthy even though we were charged $400 and were advised it was cleaned and reinspected? We were also advised to pay the $400 and they would release 'paperwork, and when there was no release of paperwork (or left with the truck driver)until we chased it the night before our local government inspection, if we hadnt we would have had to rebook the inspection and get more time off work! Please also be advised you will deal with quite a few different people during the process so you may have to repeat things and when the going gets tough the owner throws his toys and states words to the effect 'he doesn't wish to communicate with you anymore ' because you left a poor trust pilot review before he got the chance to respond to you even though you weren't dealing with him and states 'If a problem comes up at any stage, we have the experience to solve it. In the end , we had to collect our vehicle ourselves from the local depot (even though we had prepaid for local delivery) even though they claim 'We ensure your items arrive without any damage, on time, every time, and we’ve been doing so for over 35 years' .after having to rebook our government three times, and being let down,but to be fair though this was their vehicle transport and out of their control. We now have to chase a refund even though he now states he doesnt want to communicate with us anymore due to our poor review. Why do people do poor reviews-go figure! I wouldnt deal with them or recommend them to anyone, however, I dont know of anyone who would do better, I think this and the furniture removal market appear to be all the same, you have to go with someone, but dont expect exceptional service, reliability and no damage as I dont think any company can, too many companies people and personalities in the process. 1)A little condescending calling me friend ! 2)Never received one apology from any staff member for any issues 3)It wasn’t just cleaning as outlined in my review ? 4) Be careful with family owned businesses, sometimes they can be good BUT no accountability to a MD, director or owner because it’s them and they are family, and anyone that doesn’t want to hear or take continuous improvement advice , ( even if they don’t use it ) you would have to question. No companies process is perfect , any advantage or point of difference you can achieve over a competitor , has to be taken seriously . Listen to your customers, return customers are the cheapest form of advertising and marketing! New potential customers YOU BE THE JUDGE

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY TO DEAL WITH !!!!!!!! Asked Richard for a comprehensive quote for my bike over 13 weeks ahead of time and got messed about I was then told that they could not pick my crates up from my address and it became my issue 1 week before I left after we sold both our cars and had a pick up pre arranged They had not done any paperwork after waiting 8 weeks Now there was not enough time for me to do the paperwork myself as they were said they would do it takes 6 weeks to process once started. I had to leave my bike with a mate to sell on behalf or freight at a later date. On top of this they do not reply to emails and if they do its after many calls if you are able to get a call answered only to be asked to send the information through again Failure after failure I would not recommend them to anyone and if there was a negative star rating I would give them -5 Your staff was not abused I called up to get a hold of you "the CEO" before posting this and was short never shouted swore or behaved inappropriately, once again total lack of customer service. An email was sent instructing you to go ahead with the quote check your inbox from months ago with my rego asking what other details you needed. if you are going to offer a service and fail on a request at least have the gumption to learn from it and accept liability,

It was a very great experience with Barbara who gave us instant quote on car shipment to Perth and guided us through all the documents we need with the expected timeframe. It was a relief having someone who is well experienced and provided very helpful information to help making the right decision. Highly recommended if you consider moving your car overseas too.
