Hello I am coming on here to see if anyone knows if I should file small claims court where the company is located or where I am located. I am trying to communicate with the company regarding the status of my damaged belongings and they have been vague as to what is going on, the process, who is handling it etc. I’ve followed up multiple times as well as an attempt to give them time before taking it to court. If anyone has experience in escalating against this company please let me know. **Review*** PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!!! My family trusted this company about 2 years ago for their across states move, which is why I decided to trust them. That was a mistake. My belongings were poorly handled and came damaged. Firstly, the communication was not great. The delivery individual dropped off my belongings at the wrong door without confirming with me if the address was correct… after trying to text and call that person asking what they’re doing down the way, they finally responded after about 1-2 hours. Their response was I wish you had told me. I tried! After that, their response was that they would take a couple more hours to wait for more movers to come help and it would be an additional charge… I moved across states, I am already going through life experiences that have made me vulnerable. I decided to walk down and start moving boxes that I could carry myself. Upon walking up to my belongings I can see that my boxes are mostly ripped, broken. I basically did some of the movers jobs myself moving my belongings to my apartment in tears. I just had no words at the moment to dealing with this. After a bit the driver decided to help me. Began unwrapping the thermal blankets around my bigger items… BROKEN TV, DESK, DENTED CONSOLE, CHIPPED COFFEE TABLE. I paid extra just for thermal blankets to wrap my items? I was told that they would carefully take apart my items, wrap them in bubble material. I was just shocked at how poorly this job was done. After the driver saw the belongings and apologized, I reached out to the company and they said it would take 90 days to handle the matter. 90 days is insane. This is someone’s belongings, someone’s hard earned money used to buy these items as well as paid and trusted this company. I was appalled by the lack of care and communication. Please just take a look at these few photos I have decided to share and carefully decide if you should book with them.

Please be aware of the poor services provided by US Prime Movers & VanLines, Inc. I strongly advise you to avoid using either of these companies as their communication, ethics, and professionalism are unacceptable. They are only interested in taking your money and misrepresenting themselves as reputable companies. I had to face a lot of trouble dealing with these companies regarding customer care. If you want your belongings to arrive in good condition, please think twice before using their services. You can review the attached images to see how badly they can damage your belongings. When I contacted US Prime Movers to report the damages, they responded via text message and not a direct call. As an intelligent reader, you can read between the lines. The response: We checked the images. I wanted to make sure you know. We handle customer items like our own. But unfortunately damages might happen during cross country move. I even damaged my own chair when I was moving my office desk from one room to another. I just checked in our system that you have basic liability insurance. That means you don't have to pay Premium or Deductible. Therefore all claims will be calculated as FREE insurance $0.60 per pound per article, We value your time so I wanted to offer 2 options. -We can send you $75 to close the your claim or -We can send you a claim form to open with a 3rd party claim process company process can take up to 90 days to complete the settlement.
