Needs to be some negative stars allowed. A) My patient was at his care aide's house on the 22nd of August while I was there as well and the provider had been notified a week ago that the patient would be traveling with the care aide up to his house despite not riding down in the morning. Service manager threatened to call the cops to have him and the care aide removed from the van and patient told manager a) no local officer would ever get in the middle of such a dispute regardless if the provider called or the patient. Modivcare transportation manager level 3 told the patient to stay put and he would escalate it to his corporate Provider Relations office for disciplinary action as removing the patient or care aide would ``Create or Allow a Patient Health and Safety Hazard'' which is one Federal violation coupled with Discrimination on the Basis of Disability for standing up for his Federally-guaranteed rights is a Second Federal violation. Eventually due to provider's noncompliance, Corporate Office Administration forced Modivcare to send an UBER for the care aide who then followed the van out to the house according to the patient's report. Subsequently the transportation provider tried to place themselves on the patient's Do Not Assign list, which is also Discrimination on the Basis of Disability. Our office simply called Modivcare back up and removed the provider from the Do Not Assign list before filing OUR grievances with CMS. Since being removed from the Do Not Assign list, where they will having to be declining the patient's trips one at a time, this will then be noted and assigned for provider discipline from Provider Relations as part of the transportation contract with Modivcare identifies providers who repeatedly decline either one patient or one type of patient, which will then cause their contracts to be terminated. B) 1 They hire people who can't speak or comprehensible English or understand it when it is spoken to them 2 They drive like they are controlling a ride (badly) at the Six Flags Over San Francisco careening around corners zooming over speed bumps and railroad tracks and so on etc. 3 Frequently late or no show to the point of having to call on the same day to cancel dr appt etc which causes aggravation on the medical staff. This company was recently acquired by a larger company and trying to be re incorporated into a national service. With the number of people filing grievances with A) Modivcare transportation broker B) the insurance quality control office and C) the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services - if they keep providing this type of poor service on all fronts (drivers creating pt health and safety hazards and management discriminating on the basis of disability - I guarantee that unless they have a VAST improvement in all of the above - they will not last long. The last company that behaved in a similar fashion were removed from not only Modivcare but several other brokers as well, and then once that word got out - nursing homes and medical facilities and such also cancelled their contracts as well. Subsequently their company had several attempts to be sold, but with such a tarnished name, it was easier to let them go out of business which they did later the same year. It's a good thing Gov. Newsom has initiated new quality assurance protocols where these types of bad actors will be removed from the system and possibly prosecuted by the State. So - no. Everybody needs to put THEM on the Block List before they put YOUR PATIENTS on the Block List. Enough people do that and they will start feeling the pain in the wallet and either correct the problem or go out of business.

This complaint is about their employee who uses your company's vehicle, parks where it should not be parked, and behaves appropriately towards our employees. I'm sure you can identify who was driving your vehicle at the time I sent this email. This employee of yours exhibited inappropriate behavior towards our employees when he came to our store. He probably assumes that our employees are his slaves and that they are obliged to serve him. Our employee warned him many times that he should be careful when choosing his words and that he could convey his request more politely. As a result, he was asked to leave the shop because he continued to act with the same attitude and behavior. Following this request, he created a comment using unrealistic expressions about our shop and our employees. It is worrying that a company that provides healthcare services has such an employee. If this is his general attitude and behavior, I think you need to do a general review of how he behaves towards the patients you serve. Additionally, as you can see in the picture, this person positions himself well above the social structure and does not obey traffic rules. He should be reminded that the place where he parked his vehicle is actually a non-parking place and that he should pay more attention to traffic rules.

BEWARE - They will leave your handicapped loved one stranded with no ride and will not answer their phones (if you call the phone # listed it’s a regular gmail box and not a company one). If they do answer, they will hang up on you as per the experience we have had (mom called the driver and the driver hung up then wouldn’t pick up again). This is the 3rd time this has happened now and we will be filing an official grievance with CMS. If this has happened to you, I suggest you do the same.
