I understand nyc reality moves fast, but do not count on this broker to practice decent professionalism. After a confirmed appointment to view an apartment, he never showed up, nor did they answer my calls, texts or emails upon arrival or afterwards to explain the situation.

Hardest company to deal with. Alon did not respond to most of my messages nor did he show up in person to give a tour personally but scheduled five other groups at the same time. Would not recommend to anyone.

Basically the worst. THE WORST. Nothing handled professionally. Phone calls ignored most of the times, nothing in the apartment was fixed immediately. Lots of roaches too. I had hot water not working for so long and it took about 3 months to get it fixed properly. The super always told me he fixed the problem but it was never done correctly. I called the management and I had to bring up the law about landlords providing hot water is necessary, and then they decided to look into my apt’s hot water issue carefully. Alon Trappler, the building manager was rude and not responsible at all. His attitude was just like “sorry not my problem” whenever I made a call for some issues never being resolved. I wish I could give negative stars for this realty services. And I cannot believe someone bothered to give 5 stars for this company.

You can never get ahold of anyone, they don't return your calls. They're rude, not helpful, and unprofessional. They take forever to cash rent checks and when I call to make sure they received, no one can answer and no one calls back like promised.. Edit!! Gets even worse. They claimed they never received a rent check several times. I have never ever been late on a rent payment. So I start taking long breaks to HAND DELIVER the checks. I just received a late rent notice threatening legal action. I just spoke with them last week as I delivered my check! They are making errors on their end and I am suffering from it. Hands down worst rental company I have ever dealt with.

Make sure you send every rent check certified mail through the United States Post Office. This management fights to evict paying tentants who are rent stabilized. They will claim they never received your rent checks for months and then take you to court to try and evict you. It's all a plot to turn over apartments for higher rents from new tenants. Everyone at the office is rude and unprofessional. They claimed to have upgrade the lobby of the building and the elevators costing over half a million dollars and expect the tenants to pay for it by charging 6% per year. Turns out the "upgraded" entrance doors and intercom system barely ever works, and the elevators break down at least once and sometimes twice a month leaving disabled tenants and tenants with baby strollers to climb up to 6 flights. The cameras in the building doesn't work either. Ppl who do not live in the building simply jerks the door open and let's themselves in to use drugs in the halls. There r also tons of roaches and mice. The incinerator is filthy with broken light bulbs as well. New castle is a horrible management company.
