The Real about Blair Logistics! Six weeks in had to put the truck in the shop for Fuel leak, clutch problems & MIL light on. Down 2&1/2 weeks. Ran 2 loads went back to the shop rear main seal leaking & MIL light back on for same problem ( rear main seal is on the shop for don't installing it right) down another 2&1/2 weeks. During this they had no loaner trucks to use. Talking about just getting in a different truck, they talked me out of it cause another truck likely to have problems. They had me do a few truck recovery that I had to front the gas money on the rental cars to get to the trucks. Hold this thought we come back to this. I finally get truck out, get a load and doesn't make it 50 miles down the road and fuel line bust. Truck has to be towed in. I'm pretty much done at this point, can't afford to keep doing this. Now they finally want to make something happen to put me in a loaner truck. I told them I don't want a loaner truck. I need a different truck. But of course they don't have one available for me, but they have trucks for everyone in orientation that week? Back to picking up the recovery trucks that they supposed to pay me $650 for Plus gas. Now they won't pay me cause I had enough and quit. SO GO TO BLAIR AT YOUR ON RISK! So much more could be said.

It could be better. I'm just sharing what has been my experiences over the past 14 months here. As my sentiment towards Blair Changes so will the review. I honestly hope that I can update this to a positive review soon. There's no load board access for drivers. There's no option for how you want to be paid on loads, once a day, weekly, etc. Contractors are always kept a week behind on their pay similar to how a company driver is paid. They like to tout you're an independent contractor or a business owner but the owner ops I know scan their bols in to the factoring company and get paid out the same day or next day, like a true O/O should. They like to complain about drivers holding their bills all week but don't want to take the obvious steps to change it. Maybe some drivers only want to be paid once a week for what they did last week but you could at least give them that option. Drivers lose out on an additional 7% pay for using Blair trailers and if you happen to pick one up that's due for a dot inspection they expect you to get that done for them on your own time without compensation. Most likely you will get it done whenever you shutdown for the night on your 10 hour break. You might have to check into the shop and babysit Blair trailer until 3 am in the morning to get the dot done and as soon as you pull into the shop someone will grab your parking spot. Then you struggle to find parking when they're done and you're tired as heck. This might happen to you more often than not when you're using their trailers. Blair over charges drivers for the trucks selling a used truck for twice the fair market value and claim it's at trade terms when it isn't. The truck I have now had 430,000 miles on it when I got it, bad water leaking in around windshield, DPF filters nearly clogged up, the cabinets ripped out, etc, etc, etc, and they still want $100,000 for it LOL. If your truck breaks down the week before your one year bonus they will take that $2,000 bonus you worked hard for all year and put it towards the maintenance escrow. Then put you on revenue cap for $900 week ON A 1099! $900 a week isn't acceptable for an OTR driver on a W2 let alone a 1099 when you add the additional tax expense. I believe bonuses should be paid to the drivers regardless if they're on revenue cap or not. It's not like Blair isn't already taking out a weekly deduction for maintenance escrow and eventually the break down would be paid off regardless so why not let the drivers have their sign on bonus? You don't gain anything except for an upset driver by taking the one year bonus and putting it on the trucks escrow. Another thing they will shut your fuel card off randomly without telling you and you won't find out until you're at the pump trying to get fuel. You will pay $2,600 a month in truck payments for a neutered truck that is detuned to the point it struggles to make it up a hill. They tout no forced dispatch yet In their main office they have a huge mural on the wall that reads "Load every truck every day".

Wouldn’t hire me cause of the camera they have in company trucks back when I was a company driver at P&s 6 or 7 years ago .. now I have my own truck and they can’t hire me plus they put camera in o/o trucks so hard pass for me anyways.. after talking to other drivers there it’s not a fit for me anyways.. I'm partial to actually making money..
