My husband had a stroke in July and, after spending 5 weeks in Dominican Hospital came home to be cared for by the wonderful care providers from Care From The Heart. This review is meant to encourage anyone who needs home health care to look no further than Care From The Heart! I cannot imagine any agency handling our needs more professionally or kindly than they did. The owner, Jackie, visited our house a week before home care began and helped us set it up in such a way that my husband was equipped with all he'd need to assure him a path to recovery and independence. Prior to my husband's discharge, her care providers trained in the hospital so they knew exactly what they'd be facing and how to safely handle my large and largely immobile husband once he was at home. Jackie is a nurse with many years of experience which inspired confidence and hope as my family and I and Care From The Heart began the months of helping my husband recover from his stroke. Our care providers were lovely, gentle, respectful and skilled and a joy to have in our lives. They had incredible patience and kindness and humor in their dealings with my husband and every day they arrived on time and focused entirely on his recovery, assisting my husband in his exercises and attending to all his nursing needs. My husband is so much improved that we have now transitioned to outpatient care with a bit of help from family, but we both miss our days spent with the wonderful care providers from Care From The Heart. Jackie and her staff are always professional, caring, and RELIABLE!!!! My mother had some health issues and needed more care than she previously required. Jackie had staff covering every shift we needed and was flexible when we often changed the coverage. Give them 48 hours as their staff rely on the promised schedule. We left my mother when we traveled and never worried that she was looked after and taken care of with professionalism, compassion, and most importantly, reliability.

Care From The Heart's experienced caregivers came to provide 24- hour "end of life" care for my husband for nearly 10 days. Along with Hospice, I was able to have the quality time I needed to be with my husband without having to manage every single aspect of his personal and medical care. Since Hospice only comes a few times per week, I employed the services from Care From the Heart to cover the remainder of days and hours. I would not have been able to spend quality time with my husband if I had tried to do all those hours and days by myself. I give Care From the Heart 5 stars for their compassion and complete respect for my husband, their understanding of end of life situations, and knowing I could trust each person in my home 24 hours per day.
