I have been using BEBA for almost 4 years now and am never disappointed with the service they provide. They are hard working, friendly and are extremely helpful. They are very meticulous on how they transport items, carefully wrapping each furniture piece and artwork to make sure there is no damaged during transportation. Thank you so much to the team of BEBA for showing up rain, shine and/or snowfall and for showing up with a smile on your face. The best moving team out there!

Beba was recommended to me by a dear friend. I hired them for an in-town move and had great communication from management leading up to the move. The day of the move went smoothly even though there was a stupendous downpour of rain. Very grateful for the reliable and trustworthy workers, they were a great stress relief for me because of their diligence with the cleanliness of my place as well as their general kindness.

Had a great move using Beba. Everything went really smoothly and they were fast and efficient. Cost was great too. It was our first time using movers and we would rehire them again in the future.

Zero stars if I could. We were moving from a 1 bedroom apartment to another within Ottawa (10 min drive). The only reason we booked this company was because they offer a minimum 2 hour fee vs 4 hours compared to most other companies. Of course you can imagine it’s all a scam. To make things easier and faster, I’ve already moved most of our stuff to the new apartment. I’ve also disassembled our bed, and took out the drawers from underneath the bed and the TV stand and moved them. The things left to move were: a 3 seater sofa, a tv stand, a tv, the disassembled bed, a couple of drawer sets, a wardrobe, and an Ikea day bed. The movers arrive on time.. they take allllll of the time in the world to prepare the truck for our stuff.. one of the movers gets a go pro and films the apartment without even asking for approval? Then Stares on his phone for a while then puts on some music using his headphones.. then finally they start moving stuff, 25-30 mins after arrival. They start wrapping our furniture with their moving blankets to “protect them”. These blankets were very dirty and smelly, probably haven’t been washed for over a year. More than 5 people in our floor/building and the other building have complained of how bad the hallways/elevators smell. They struggled to move the wardrobe for more than 15 mins, then left it, then came back for it. It’s as if it was their first time moving a wardrobe. The wardrobe ended up having a corner broken that I only noticed after they were gone. While they’re using the elevators, they find another group using another elevator but theirs got stuck for some reason. He then offers the other group to use our elevator???? without asking for my approval, despite me telling him that the elevator we’re using is not protected with sheets and there’s a liability on us if we damage it in any way. When we arrive, one of the movers says “if you want things to get faster, then help us move your stuff”. I don’t understand. Am I paying you to move or is it a shared cost? Nonetheless, I’ve helped move things to get things along. Getting the sofa in the elevator of the new building was also another struggle, but again, it’s as if they were new to this and didn’t have an idea on how to fit it in. Aside from all of this, their attitude in the whole move was that of two people who just didn’t want to work. My advice? Go with the other 4.9-5 star companies. You’ll pay for 4 hours moving a 1 bedroom apartment either way, and you’ll get the better service overall. UPDATE to reply to owner’s comments: - I don’t understand how a last minute move is supposed to affect your ability to do things. We agreed on a move date. It was a MUTUAL agreement. Thank you for accommodating us. End of story. - You never asked us where to park.. we would’ve gladly told you in the parking way where you eventually parked and it was legal. So don’t make up stories. - you talk as if the distance between the apartment and the truck is a mile away… your description is deceptive as is your comments. - you’re supposed to ask before you do things. You can’t randomly walk in to MY apartment and start taking videos. You can’t ask another party to use the elevator we booked and are responsible for. - what extra half hour block lol. You arrived at 1:20 and finished at 5:20. You charged us for 4 hours. Remove the 1 hour of all the stalling and delays and you’ll end up with 3 hours instead..
