I am highly disappointed in the services received from this firm. Taken on as a client residing in another County, there was no concerted effort to ensure that I had the direct, in-person support I needed to pursue legal action against a major educational institution. Further, I felt dissuaded from meeting before the institutions’ governing body to defend the false claims made against me that led to my termination. I felt this was a matter of convenience for the firm, instead of helping me to fight and speak truth to power when it really counted. In this instance, I was advised to settle as it would result in a similar outcome, whether I spoke to the governing body or not. I also felt dissuaded from filing a lawsuit or going to the media with my concerns. With the amount of effort and documentation I put into this matter, I truly believe that I could have obtained a better outcome on my own and saved money. I would not recommend this firm or lawyer if you’re looking to make a difference or seek resolve, especially in matters involving workplace discrimination.

I interned for Mrs. Denise Eaton-May this past summer as a Paralegal intern. What I enjoyed most about working with Denise is her genuine desire to help her clients. She treated her clients as if they were lifelong friends and was always available to answer any questions or concerns. Denise also treated her staff with the same respect, I never felt unwelcome. I always looked forward to my internship days simply because I wanted to work with her. I have great admiration and respect for Denise and know for fact that anyone who seeks for her service will be in good hands.
