My daughter suggested this place for dinner and we made it right under the wire before 7 pm where they stop servicing inside and only do takeout! The area is a bit seedy with a couch and a car door in the sidewalk! So it makes more sense to do take out. My daughter has the Beef Kabob and I tried the chicken. They service complementary bread w butter too. The food tasted good but I felt bad for the owner who was managing everything by herself.

Indulged in a delightful culinary experience at stew stone. The food surpassed expectations, a harmonious blend of flavors that truly delighted the palate. The side of onions and herbs provided was visibly stale. The food was great. There's barely any one there as this location gets mostly carry out orders.

San Jose has a new best?!? Why didn't I know about this place sooner? This tiny place has a lot of persian soul to it. The menus have big beautiful images of Iran and the food. This is great for newcomers. I've eaten at some of the best persian restaurants in the world and I must say the zereskh polo (sweet rice) with chicken is the best here. The yogurt with cucumber (mast khair) is also the best. The bread they serve pre meal also outperforms local persian restaurants. Highly recommend.

This quaint place had delicious Persian Food. Their menu was very impressive. The only downside was that they only had one person waiting on the entire restaurant. And the server was also the greeter and cashier.
