Needed a quick move of four pieces of bedroom furniture to a refinishing business.. (approximately 130 miles, across state lines).. called Shively’s based on reviews, and have been extremely happy with the quick and efficient results. They quickly came for a very short “walk through “, provided an estimate, and scheduled move shortly after. The two movers were absolutely fantastic. Arrived on time, very polite, and very friendly. First thoroughly reviewed the move. Then skillfully negotiated stairs and tight landing turn with large heavy pieces.! Truck was sized perfectly, was spotless, seemed pretty much brand new.. I was not there to receive but I prearranged drop off with the refinishing business.. the delivery was thus accomplished, in the expected travel time… No “surprises”, invoice was as per estimated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I would recommend Shively's to all of my friends. My wife and I had a local move today and it was a great experience. They were very professional with our move and with setting up our furniture. My family hired Shively to help with a local move. From the initial email inquiry and immediate phone call, I knew that I chose the right company. Communication was top notch and after meeting w/ Kelly, I knew our moving experience would be trouble free. The crew arrived on time, introduced themselves and we did a walk through so they could see everything that was moving. They got right to work and did not stop until everything was loaded on the truck (5 hours later). Amazing team work. We had some specialty items (sleep number bed, antiques, standing desk) and they knew how to disassemble/reassemble in record time. They treated our belongings like they were their own. I highly recommend Shively's Moving - from start to completion, everyone was professional and very hard working.

The best! Shopped around for movers and found Shively to be upfront with costs, came and gave us an estimate within one day, and made adjustments when needed. We used their storage pods until wecould move into our new home. Was a hard move, but they did it all with care and consideration. The men who did the actual moving were so considerate. Can't say enough good things about this company. You will not have to worry.
