This company destroyed our business. We consulted with Brewer Construction to build out space prior to renting it. I don’t think Mr. Brewer is affiliated with the space we rented although he was on a list of recommended contractors. Mr. Brewer assured us that he could work within our budget maybe slightly over and start immediately. Several calls and emails honed down the final built out parameters on an actual smaller space. Again,, Mr Brewer assured us he could work close to out budget give or take 10%. He assured us he was able to get us on his schedule asap. Two weeks later we signed a two year lease. We made no additions to our designs as far as build out, insulation, electricity. We were so excited and purchased multiple large ticket items for our startup. Once we signed the lease knowing that we would be able to build out within our budget, Mr. Brewer was very unresponsive to phone calls, said he would call at a certain time and did not on multiple occasions. Months after we moved in he finally got us a firm build out and contract ready. The bid was five times more than what our budget was. He had no explanation other than it was more than he thought. We were now stuck in a two year contract and had no way to build out the space. He said he would look into the contact bids. He never got back to me. Again, Mr. Brewer said he had worked in this building before an assured us on multiple occasions that he could work within our budget prior to us signing the lease. He has destroyed our business. He was unresponsive and an unapologetic. I was totally surprised because at the time he absolutely seemed secure and knowing what was possible. We are stuck in a two year lease and he has never said anything about not meeting our budget. The building was unresponsive to us pointing out their recommended contractor list ruined our business.

Extremely friendly greeting and visit with lady meeting me but everyone was in the field. Still had a great visit and felt welcomed and that my business was important.
