JMB Construction remodeled our master bathroom and the results are outstanding. John worked with us as we found our plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, and tile. He helped turn our design ideas into reality and made numerous helpful suggestions. Our space: toilet, bathtub, vanity, and shower were all torn down and over the course of several weeks a new bathroom emerged. The workmanship was top-notch, but more important was the thoroughness and thoughtfulness that they put into their jobs. They plan ahead and make sure they know what we want and expect ahead of time, and make sure they aren't going to get blocked by some decision we haven't made or communicated yet. They make every effort to avoid creating messes (like putting up plastic barriers and canvas tarps to protect and cover surfaces). And they clean up after themselves every day, and make sure they don't leave a mess anywhere on the property. Months before we did our master bathroom we used a different contractor to remodel a smaller bathroom. The contrast between JMB's project and the other bathroom couldn't be more distinct. We "saved" some cash on that first bathroom, but we aren't happy with the results and we will likely have to redo it again in the next few years.

We found JMB Plumbing & Construction to be OUTSTANDING! They do it all—plumbing, carpentry, electrical, flooring, painting, HVAC repair or replacement, full kitchen or bathroom remodels, miscellaneous repairs, and more—for a fair price. We have and do STRONGLY recommend them to our FRENDS and now to YOU. John Barrera, his team of men and his subcontractors are capable of doing any type of plumbing or construction work necessary to repair or improve one’s home. John and all his people were professional and courteous while doing their work. They started promptly on the days and at the times agreed to in advance. The quality of their work was excellent with great attention to detail—we watched carefully! All of these attributes and qualities are provided at a fair price, based on our post-completion time-and-materials analyses of the three rounds of work they did for us. We look forward to working with John and his team to maintain and further improve our home as the need arises. If you want to consider the scope of what JMB Plumbing & Construction has done us so far, please read on: Round 1 consisted of copper repiping our entire home; replacing the water heater; replacing the plumbing fixtures in all sinks, bathtubs and showers; replacing the bathroom exhaust fans; replacing molded caulking in the showers; re-caulking the kitchen sink; repairing water damage under the kitchen sink, replacing bowed shelves in the kitchen cabinets and the pantry closet; replacing sink drains, repairing incorrect electrical wiring; and replacing the HVAC ducts in attic. Round 2 consisted of replacing the carpet and vinyl flooring in the master bedroom suite with waterproof laminate; replacing bowed shelving and dowel rods in the bedroom closets; replacing the kitchen vinyl flooring with ceramic tile; replacing broken window blinds; and repairing a broken kitchen drawer. Round 3 consisted of installing a new heating and air conditioning system (previously had no A/C); installing grab bars in showers; installing ceiling lighting in three bedrooms; and painting the entire interior of the home. John and his guys did a great, and excellent job on our copper pipes replacement, and add drain pipes underneath my house. We are getting hot water and faster than before. Great Quality.
