I cannot say enough amazing things about Old City Movers! I used them to move from South Jersey to Bethesda, MD and it was without a doubt the BEST moving experience I have ever had (and I've had a lot). I used Mambo Movers the last time I moved and they did a good job, but they were NOT friendly (I honestly felt uncomfortable the entire time they were moving things into my house), and there was miscommunication about the pricing which led to them being confrontational at the end. Old City Movers, on the other hand, were a dream come true. The process was extremely organized from start to finish, the pricing and estimates were not only fair but accurate and leading up to my move, everyone was so nice and reassuring. On moving day, I was lucky enough to have Joe, Ethan and Gabe move me and they're my new best friends. They were nice, professional, efficient, helpful, kind, supportive and communicative. I own a lot of high-end furniture and fragile items, and when I unpacked...not one single thing was broken or damaged!! They had to move me into my apartment AND my storage unit...every single box was put into the right room, and when they put everything into my storage unit they even organized it by the labels on the bins and it looks BEAUTIFUL (yes, a storage unit that looks beautiful, thanks to them). They had to move my Peloton bike AND Peloton Tread (this thing is not only massive but HEAVY) and they had to put them into a very small room that was not easy to access. Any other movers would have given up or just said no right off the bat, but not Joe, Ethan and Gabe! They got creative, disassembled and reassembled a few things to make it work, and made sure both were set up and positioned exactly how I wanted it before leaving! Even my dog was obsessed with them and they didn't even mind the fact that he was following them in and out of the moving truck - any other movers would have flipped out about this! We all know that moving is extremely stressful, even more so when you're moving out of state, and they went above and beyond to make (what I expected to be) a stressful day an ENJOYABLE one. I'm not kidding, I was sad to see them go when everything was done. If I have to move again locally in MD, I would 100% pay them to drive down from Philly just to move me in Maryland (when I could easily just use someone local)...that is how incredible they are.

These guys were awesome. Three guys managed to move the contents of an entire rowhome to another in less than six hours; navigating large furniture down two flights of spiral staircases with no damage to the stairs or walls. They were prompt, courteous and did an amazing job. Nothing was damaged in the process and they secured any box or furniture we didn't properly pack. 10/10 will definitely be using these guys next time I move.

I used Old City Movers for my move across town, and the experience couldn’t have been better! In the initial communication, they were very clear in their guidance for TV packing recommendations, reserving street permits, and the estimate was accurate (actually the final price was on the low side of the initial quote). On moving day, the team was on time, efficient, and professional. They even went above and beyond and helped me take apart and reassemble my bed frame. I would 100% work with them again!

I had a great experience with the crew from Old City Movers. From start to finish, they were super friendly, responded quickly and thoroughly to my messages, and handled everything with much appreciated care. The cost for the services were very fair and they were clear, upfront, and honest about what you need and what you can expect to pay them. The day of our move, they showed up friendly, easy going, and worked efficiently. They wrapped everything that needed extra coverage and put things in their truck with consideration; and even helped with disassembly and reassembly of hefty furniture. They all around made my move so swift. I will definitely be recommending them to those around me.

Great experience with old city movers! Our furniture was moved from philly to south jersey and they took great care of each piece while also being efficient and on time. The movers were so nice and friendly (shout out to Ian, Mark, and Knight!) and they made the move very easy for us! Highly recommend!!
