After having a horrible experience last year with movers, I decided to use Piece by Piece Movers as recommended by the property management company for the building I moved to. The 2 man crew arrived on time and were efficient but handled my belongings with care. I was pleasantly surprised by how polite and professional they were. They helped me to set up my bed, and arrange my living room furniture. They do have a 4 hour minimum but it's worth it. I gladly gave them a generous cash tip.

Great experience with Piece by Piece! The guys were friendly, efficient and treated all my belongings with care. I moved from a 2nd floor apt to a 2-story house and I had a few large/heavy items that had to be maneuvered up and down stairs and they did it flawlessly. The final bill had a couple errors but getting them corrected was quick and easy. Highly recommend Piece by Piece for your next move!

We hired Piece by Piece based on the recommendations but this is the worst moving experience we've had, speaking from people who've moved quite a few times, including cross state move. Here's what went wrong: - We signed up for 3 movers from the local team (to reduce the travel cost which is added to the total). Only 2 movers showed up and they were NOT local so we got charged extra than what was promised as "local" team by the sales. - Look at the pictures of the wood furniture we had purchased brand new at the place we moved from and you could imagine how disappointed we were to see all the damages done... They subsequently sent someone over to fix the woods but the furniture is never the same and I truly hope no one who cherishes their furniture has to go through what we did. - During the sales process, a facetime walkthrough was done. The rep was aware of the piano needed to be moved. The movers showed up and were very surprised to find that they had to move the piano and spent at least 15 minutes outside contacting office to decide if they should move it... - After the move, sales rep said that he was sorry for the damages caused by 2 movers but their "usual" team doesn't typically move on Sundays. I wish he had told me that during the sale process so I would have changed the date. All in all, it was the worst moving experience we've had - extremely disappointing.
