Only was employed for a week! Started on a Monday an was released on Friday! Don't know the real reason why, but I was told that I wasn't catching on quick enough with the piggyback! When my trainer stated that he trained a guy 2 weeks an he didn't catch on! Wonder why I only got one week. 🤔 Oh well on to the next!👍🏾 Trainers need to be more patient or they should Train on the yard so that less experienced ppl can get the feel of taking the fork lift on an off of the truck the right way.

I wish I could give 6 stars! Excellent company with great management team and ownership. It all starts when you call in to the dispatch office and receive 5 star customer service. It ends with best in class drivers who are both professional and highly skilled at their job. I would put SLD’s dependability up there with any carrier in the US. They honor their commitments and do right by their customers. On top of that, the owner is extremely customer centric and promotes a first class experience for all of his customer and drivers. It makes so much sense now why everyone in the Southeast makes one call to SLD Transport and Hurricane Logistics to handle all of their transportation and warehousing needs. I encourage everyone reading this to save some time, and simply call this company. They will get it done and leave you with a smile.
