I have not used this company for hauling. But this morning two of their drivers guaranteed that I won't ever be using them. They need to secure their loads especially when hauling gravel. Slow down instead of driving ten over the speed limit, and stop cutting people off. It's funny that I am getting peppered with gravel while the flashing warning sign above the highway says "Secure your load" Lastly 64 East between Short pump and downtown, the hammer lane is not for commercial vehicles.. except buses.

No surprise at the negative comments. But never used them professionally, and after this incident, nor should anyone else. I was struck by one of thier dump trucks while sitting still at a backed up stop sign, just down the street from thier lot The driver tried to hot dog it, snd squeeze by and his lift rail dug into the rear of my truck. Causing 900.00 damage Instead of apologizing, he tried to say I backed into him. (You can see by photo I posted, he crossed over the double yellow line and ran into me). I had people in front and in back of me, and would not need or want to do that. As a former police officer who is certified in accident reconstruction and driving instructor for the state police, I think I would know who was at fault. The local state police would not cite the dump truck driver but thought the dump truck driver was probably at fault. RS thomas insurance carrier, Aquity, (a dog $hit carrier), denied my claim with no formal explanation. So off to court I went. When I served the driver personally at the office, I met Mr. Thomas to give him a copy. Instead of apologizing for the incident, he said, I would have to let the process play out. Well, I did just that. His driver was too ignorant to show up for court, and a default judgment was awarded. I then took the judgment to RS Thomas personally, and no response. I then forwarded judgment to Aquity, and they had no choice but to pay the claim. Now you know why you're paying high rates for RS services, because most likely his rates will be effected from this. Instead of being civil and realistic, I had to go through a process that took over a year to settle. All for a 900.00 claim Shows you what lengths a owner, driver, and thier carrier will go to deny damage when at fault and not apologize once for the incident. If I hadn't the experience of how to deal with the courts and insurance, most people would of given up and ate the cost themselves. Good luck to everyone out there with thier dealings with this sleezebag operation and owner. Cheers

One of the R.S. Thomas trucks on 64 just broke my 21 Bronco’s windshield with flying gravel. Looking at the reviews this obviously isn’t a new problem. Educate your drivers and secure your load correctly, you’re not the only ones on the road!!!

This company should never be trusted! The drivers will intentionally bully and try to run smaller cars off the road! They are dangerous and callous! If you see one of these trucks doing anything illegal or dangerous, please report it to the authorities right away because this has to stop!

I have been traveling 288 in between Hull street and short pump for at least 4 years. Every time I get around one of RS Thomas hauling trucks I am getting peppered with rocks, Due to the negligence of the driver not securing there truck or load properly, I have no idea about your hauling service may be great, But who ever looks over securing loads or making the trucks safe SUCKS!!!!! Figure it out. Your Trucks are the only trucks that consistently do not secure there load/DRIVING IN THE LEFT LANE 75+ MPH yes I did watch. Your not driving a sedan your driving a multi ton truck Bone Head....... Fix your driver problem. I promise there are more people that say the same thing, There was 6 of us behind one of your trucks.
