From the very first phone conversation, Linda had a genuine eagerness to assist. I was adamant about what I expected in using their service, and believe me, ½ Price Movers did not disappoint. I rarely give reviews, but I have to say a special thank you to my movers, Joe, Ian, and Justin for their exceptional work. Their professionalism was unmatched, and they exceeded my expectations. They are extremely hard workers who genuinely care and dedicate themselves in ensuring that they offer the best service possible. I honestly cannot say enough about these guys. Their willingness to go above and beyond to address any concerns I had made the entire experience seamless and stress-free, which was a relief because I am an extremely meticulous person. It's been about a month since I gave my initial review and I'm disappointingly writing to rescind it, because I feel compelled to add this additional piece of information. After using this company for myself and feeling pleased, I decided to refer my mother as well. This is where the nightmare began. When the guys arrived at her place we were told that we would be charged double for things that were on the list and discussed on the initial phone call when we were given the quote. I tried reaching the office and no one picked up our calls, however, they were able to speak with the head mover, Joseph, who relayed information to us back and forth. After arriving in Florida, I not only noticed that both mine and my mother's furnitures had numerous damages, but we were unable to find the screws for all of our bedroom sets. We called a number of times to find out where the screws were and was told by their call reps, including Linda who I initially raved about, that they would give us a call back that we still haven't received. Because of this, we were forced to purchase new screws and order hardware from the manufacturer to put our beds together. Also, upon unpacking, I also noticed that I was missing a very important wall art that was quite expensive and sentimental. When I discussed this with Linda, I was told that they couldn't be held accountable. I'm writing to make others aware, so that you don't make the mistake of using or referring this company like I did. Do yourselves a favor and stay far away.

Needed bedroom set moved from previous address to current. Looked on Google for furniture movers near me. 1/2 -Price Movers first on list. Called Sunday morning. Call answered quickly. Was given quick reasonable quote. Called no other companies. Informed day before move of estimated arrival time between 8:30 and 9:30 A.M. Jorge and Carlos arrived at 8:30 and and very quickly and professionally explained move procedure. Once I agreed and signed paperwork it was all work. Very quick, efficient and careful move. Extremely pleased with service and highly recommend. Top notch service. Jorge and Carlos make up a great moving team. Thank You!

Hired 1/2 Price Movers NJ today for a third time. They never disappoint. Their rates are very reasonable, and you still receive a top quality experience. As always their staff was punctual, friendly, very efficient and handled my items with great care. Jorge and Eric were excellent, very polite and helpful. AJ, Jorge, and John did an excellent job with my move! They arrived on time, with plenty of communication. They were very careful going down our stairs with heavy objects, making sure they shifted the weight so they wouldn’t bump into anything.
