Do NOT use 3 men movers. I have never given any business a bad review before. But I felt like this was necessary. 3 men movers were actually 1 man and 2 boys. They dropped 2 big boxes off the ramp when the boy wasn’t paying attention and wheeled the dolly right off the ramp (and the boys laughed). The move ended up being $850 for a small 1 bedroom apartment and I gave a generous tip for their time despite dropping the boxes for. Most importantly, I had a $500 west elm coffee table that they completely destroyed and DID NOT let me know. It wasn’t until I moved my stuff out of storage that I saw it. It was completely destroyed and they offered me a firm $100. They also damaged art pieces. Even though the situation was described and the receipts of the coffee table were provided, they were firm in $100- which is LESS THAN THE TIP I GAVE. The coffee table is only 1 year old. For damages items they offer .64 cents per lb. If it wasn’t 133lbs, I wouldn’t have gotten anything. They obviously knew they caused severe damage and did not inform me. Do not trust them with your move. They should have AT LEAST refunded me the tip I gave the movers as well as fully refund my damaged item. My next move and partners move we used Einstein and they were wonderful. Not only was the move terrible but they couldn’t even provide a reasonable refund for damage they caused.
