On 4/3/2024, I submitted documents to the HOA for a replacement A/C unit. The documents were not accepted because I failed to submit additional information. Instead of being able to send via email multiple attachments ALL documents must be submitted in 1 single PDF. You are also able to send it via FAX or snail mail. It's 2024....the staff are too lazy to open multiple attachments or allow you to send an email to their response with additional paperwork. This company is based out of the Silicon Valley and can't keep up with the times. How am I to trust they can oversee the care of my property?

This is a unreasonable, illogical and unprofessional team I'd like to share my feedback regarding the recent address update and registration card renewal process. The current registration is set to remain valid until March 2024, and I expected that the updated address would seamlessly reflect upon renewal. However, I find it somewhat perplexing that a new registration card is being issued solely due to an address update within the existing valid period. I have already submitted proof of the updated address record from the DMV to support my case. However, it appears there may be some confusion or an issue that needs addressing. Furthermore, in my earlier communication, I emphasized the necessity of a DMV change of address confirmation if the DMV registration does not include the CA Northpointe HOA address. It's important to note that there is no specific timeframe outlined for obtaining this confirmation, and in my situation, the address update proof aligns with the annual registration cycle and remains valid. I am providing this feedback to express my concern as I'm having difficulty understanding the basis for the objection raised. The reasoning appears inconsistent with our previous communications. I won't recommend any real estate developers to work with this company in any situation

The most incompetent group of people I've ever had to deal with. Something as simple as getting a parking permit is overcomplicated with them. No instructions listed anywhere, and the front desk staff are incredibly rude and entitled, even though it's their company that is in the wrong. They will hang up the phone and tell you they'll call right back, but nope. They never reply to emails/voicemails. It took weeks just to get a parking permit, and when I thought it was all taken care of, I still got parking violations because they listed the wrong license plate down. It takes actual effort to be as useless as them! No apologies, no accountability on their part. Stay away from them if you want normal customer service. (2022) *Update in 2023: Still 1 star. Had to renew our parking permit, which went smoother than last time--or so I thought. Our car kept getting tickets even though we were listed as having a valid permit, and after a lot of back and forth between Compass, we thought it was resolved. Nope--our car got TOWED. It's laughable at this point how NOONE at this office knows how to do their jobs!

Highly unethical group of thieves! If you want to be robbed of your had-earned money, abused and have your rights stomped all over, go with Compass management. They have no interest in assisting their residents. They definitely don’t deserve the 1.n star reviews that they have across all major review sites – their rating should be in the negatives! They conspire with unethical BOD’s to impose fraudulent fines. They assist their BOD’s with the harassment of their residents, instead of representing the residents and advising them to fallow laws, CC&R’s and to act ethically. They don’t respond to emails or return phone calls. Their customer service hangs up on you! All they are interested in is scamming the people that pay them. Left a voice message to the owner, Curtis, with my concerns and he too never bothered to return my call. I think the only language crooks as these understand is if you take them to court. Anyone else interested in forming a class? I’ve been a resident of Merryvale West, a complex miss-managed by them, for thirty years, and they’ve done nothing but defraud and harass myself and my family for as long as I can remember.

I called and left a message and also send an email request regarding my HOA. I never got a call back, or an email reply. This company, just want to collect monthly dues and not do something for their clients. Very disappointed. If there is a half star, they deserve it.
