We could not be happier with A1 Freeman or Allied Van Lines/North American! From start to finish you all did a professional, efficient and absolutely fantastic job! Your A1 Freeman team was efficient and respectful of our belongings - and worked within the system I created to identify what came to the house versus storage! And the driver and team from Allied did an amazing job on this end in Florida. Even during the rainstorms they kept our things dry and efficiently moved things from the rental to storage, and helped get our things into the rental. BEWARE of this company. Sure they gave us the lowest rate, but at the end of the day I would have gone with the more expensive movers because they probably have an ounce of respect for their clients. Everything that could go wrong with this move went wrong. We were given a delivery date estimate of 7/2 - 7/6. We had to call multiple times to get them to give us an actual delivery date. We finally get a call that our stuff would arrive 7/10 (when you’re in an empty house this feels like an eternity). When the delivering company finally delivered our stuff they commented on how whoever moved/stored our belongings didn’t even try to be careful. It’s sad when the delivering company is disgusted with how your furniture and boxes were handled. More than half of our boxes were squished, furniture heavily scratched, dresser completely snapped and broken. We were assured that our furniture would be wrapped in blankets but that was obviously not the case. We understand that accidents happen but this was just completely careless. We had paid more for insurance to cover this type of damage. They had an estimate company (also terrible) come to look at our damaged furniture and I gave receipts for the furniture as well. They offered a few hundred dollars for each piece of furniture. This furniture was a year old in perfect condition before the move and worth thousands of dollars. When I let them know that we paid for insurance to cover up to $30,000 we expected them to honor that and a few hundred isn’t going to cover our dining table for example, they basically told us too bad and they only cover things in full that aren’t usable. So if you’re looking for a reliable company with decent customer service that will not destroy your belongings, this is not the place for you!!

A-1 Freeman Moving Group, particularly Bill Brock and Heidi Rivas, put together an unusually complicated move for our family. The majority of our household goods were going in two different directions on two different trucks, with a full third of the items staying behind. A-1 Freeman choreographed the whole operation beautifully and we couldn't be happier. All items made it safely to their destinations. I'd like to especially thank our two drivers, Frank Olguin and Dontae Loggins. We've moved over a dozen times in the last 30 years and these two are the best we've ever met. They each handled our property with extreme care, taking a personal interest in making sure our move was exceptional. Their crews, both packers and loaders/unloaders, were also excellent performers and followed all of our instructions closely. If you need to move anytime in the future, I would highly recommend A-1 Freeman Moving Group. They are truly the best!
