This company is awesome they got us out of our old house and into our new house within a few hours. Loretta from HR is awesome. The three guys that moved us took great care of our stuff put everything where we wanted it. Bully, Rico, and Mark did a great job took their time to make sure everything was wrapped that needed to be. Thank yall so much.

I used Laser International Moving for an international move. They worked with these guys as their local crew. The two guys they sent out did a fantastic job of carefully packing everything that we had selected into our crate. Company was really communicative and when I had an issue with myself accidentally mispacking something they were really responsive in helping me resolve it!

I have moved with Loretta for the military, for storage, and as a civilian after I retired. Each of our moves have been superior. Her business is family owned, and it shows, with a personal interest in her clients. Our possessions were cared for as if personally owned by the company. She has deep roots in the military and in the community. I expect I will move again this year, and of course I will call Horton Moving!!! Thank you Loretta!!

After getting off the phone with the worst customer service experience of my life, it's not a shock that the reviews on every website for this moving company are so terrible. It's clear they only focus on military moves because they know they'll get paid by the DOD and can do whatever they want. Our frustration is with the lack of unpacking and the clear miscommunication from moving crew as far as box and boxing material unpacking. Every move we have had in the past the crew returned later to remove boxes they did not unpack. During this move, we were told by the A1 crew they would return at our convenience to dispose of the remaining boxes. We asked them to unwrap multiple plastic totes that were stored in the basement. They told us they unwrapped them but we later found they just hid the plastic totes behind the other bigger boxes. They stacked the boxes so high up in the corner I couldn't even get to everything. My husband only had 24 hours to be home before returning to work and at 8 months pregnant I couldn't even get the boxes unpacked for another two weeks. The crew also misled us into believing that they would return to remove the boxes later. When we called the office later for pickup, they told us that wasn't part of the process. We understand things change between moves but it's obvious the crew told us they'd return for the boxes/packing materials later just so they could get out of unpacking. THEN the woman in the office proceeded to say "my movers would never say that". Um, unless you were a fly on the wall in our home then how would you know the conversation? They looked me in the eye and confirmed they would come back to get the boxes. So she literally called us liars. We became so frustrated so we just hung up because her unprofessionalism and inability to handle negative feedback or conflict is clearly inept. She proceeded to insult my husband by saying "I can't believe a Captain in the military would sign papers without understanding it" and then she said because the owner of the truck has served 33 years in the military that we were insulting him? No, we were saying your crew doesn't communicate clearly and doesn't know your policy and because of that your company should be responsible for doing what they said they'd do. Or maybe you should look for new crew members who aren't trying to get out of doing their job. On top of that, we are still missing at least two boxes of baby clothes and my husband's suits and a mirror that was CRATED still somehow broke. If you've ever done military moves you know it's nearly impossible to account for every single thing coming and going into your house when there are multiple rooms and kids running around. So yeah, we signed the papers and let them go and didn't realize the PIA this would be in the end. I'm not even mad about the boxes at this point - it was the clear disrespect from the woman on the phone and her inability to believe that someone she hired could have made a mistake and pinned it on us? At least own it and fix it.
