It was a pleasant experience from start to finish, thank you A&E - I’m so glad I found you! First of all, I called late on a Thursday asking if it was possible to inspect my car on Friday because I was taking a trip over the weekend. Dannon said that I could drop it off in the morning and she’d do her best to fit it in … and they did! She was so pleasant and welcoming when I arrived and told me about their business and it was clear that they take a lot of pride in their service quality and honest communication with customers. A&E is the best place in Goleta. Danan is always so kind, quick to help, and offers the best they have! They have always been amazing at communicating well and try their best to do their job with excellence and without charging way more than they need to! I highly suggest taking all your vehicles to A&E.

I have been going to A&E for over 7 years and there has been some concern about the competency of this shop. It seems that everytime I have taken one of my vehicles in for repair, I have to take it back second or third time for it to be fixed right. On 8/18/11, I had a noise that was coming from under my work truck. It took George (owner at A&E) a while to figure what the problem was. In the defense of George, this was hard to detect what the problem was. He determined it was the flex plate, $1200.00 later I got my truck back. A week later the problem came back. Brought the truck back and he told me he was totally in the dark what the problem was. George told me the only thing I could do was to drive it until it broke down. 3 mouths later the starter froze up. After I had my truck towed to the closest repair shop and the starter was replaced, it also fixed the noise. George was going to make this up to me, I never felt that this was done. On the same vehicle I had a heater fan switch repaired twice by A&E and it still does not work. I had the air conditioner fix twice on my truck and a C5 Corvette and now the air conditioner stop working again since after 10 months. The problem lies with his mechanic has gotten increasingly rude, everytime I have brought my vehicle back to them and I am tired of being the bad guy here, just because I want my money's worth.

These guys have been there a while. They know their stuff and the area. Highly recommended.

Frank did a great job on a timely basis!! Fixed correctly, reasonably priced and arranged for a discounted rental car!! Highly recommend A&E!!!
