This company was contracted out through an HISD Elementary school to move computer equipment, screens and cpus out of classrooms and they were literally throwing the equipment out the door down 4 stairs into a cardboard box hope the school doesnt need those. Not mention they were VAPING in the outdoor temporary building classroom DURING school hours. I've never seen a mover sit down on the job kick their feet up and get high on the job. They drove on the blacktop carelessly without paying attention to kids walking around very close by and definitely not at a speed limit like they were being cautious

I was recommended by a church member to use A-Rocket. This was the second time utilizing A-Rocket’s services. Naturally, you want to support black businesses. The first move was smooth. The movers were pleasant, moved quickly, & nothing was broken. This time was chaotic & unprofessional to say the least. One of the movers broke a table & scrapped the back of my couch. When my sister called to inform me about the damage, one of the workers started yelling & arguing with her. She was so uncomfortable & scared, she asked him to refrain from moving anything else. When I got back to the apartment, I pulled him aside to politely & briefly discuss professionalism & even though he apologized, he said that’s how he handles his girlfriend. The leader of the group took the table so it would be fixed. Later that evening, I noticed the back of my couch was scraped up as well. After a week of not hearing from anyone, I reached out to check on the status of the table & to inform a manager of the incident. Fleming Gaskin offered $100 & said he would fix the table but the table cost more than $100. He later proceeds to inform us that the table wasn’t real wood, it was particle board & they wouldn’t be able to fix it but the $100 offer still stood. You mean to tell me after a table is broken, a couch is scraped, my sister being verbally assaulted by a man after he broke the table, & no one reaching out regarding the status of the table to begin with…the best you could offer is $100? He also mentioned insurance & the policy but no one ever informed us prior about insurance. The whole situation left a horrid taste in our mouths. Will never be using A-Rocket again, wouldn’t recommend.

The movers were on time, ready to work, super quick and worked straight thru. They were also very professional, efficient, always polite and friendly. A chaotic moving experience. Good intentions and nice folks but they damaged some of our things, items were not organized/protected well, directions were not always followed and leadership was lacking. Very stressful.

Almost killed me with their box truck, horrible drivers
