ZERO STARS-BEWARE! This company was a nightmare from the beginning. Intentionally leaving off large items that were discussed in detail to meet my budget, only to end up paying almost 2k over initial price. They read the contract with you in the phone skipping an entire area but insisting you sign and email back with them on the phone. 30 days from pick up I received my items with a broken tv and shelving unit. I do not look forward to dealing with a claim. I have never had such a bad experience. Movers showed me the packed truck to ensure all of my items were offloaded. I was mortified another home’s belongings were piled high without boxes and in disarray. Now I know why so many of my items were broken and covered in dirt! Rude customer service who soaks over you, etc. I had enough. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY! You will also be hit on with movers writing phone numbers down. AKWARD. They know where I live.

I talked to David with American Heritage, he gave me a decent quote. So I booked my moving and storage service on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Then a friend called and gave me the number of her service. It wasn't 30 minutes and I called and spoke with David, told him to not submit my payment that I was using another service. He said ok. I also emailed him for a paper trail. Two days later I get a notice that my payment went through. I attempted to call David again and text him on his cell phone, no response. I called my bank to make a fraud complaint and will be contacting a lawyer. These low grade moving companies hurt people when they are on a tight budget. Do not use American Heritage, they have a BBB score of F. They lie and take your money, scammers.

We hired them a year ago, super nice when you first hire them and sign up......and then the nightmare begins!!!!! They hired a company called tacoma mover, where they are,who they are you will never find out!! A huge truck load went" missing" nobody knew where our stuff was....you call heritage and they put you on hold, connect you and tell you they call back just to get you off the phone.....we got our items about 1 month late. 1 month!!!!!!! Now here it comes, it was thrown in this truck like you wouldnt believe.....broken nightstands, half a kingsize bed missing, a platform that was custoum made. Lamps broken, chairs stained nothing was wrapped. I think thise people are evil. So please please please please DO NOT hire them!!!!! They be shut down sooner or later. You can however report them to DOT, check your State, they were awesome!!!!! This company will be shut down, contact DOT if you havnt received your items or they just lie to you. Nobody knows about DOT....so if you lets say live in Virginia you contact VDOT, they have authority over them!!!!!!!!...good luck.

If there was a rating lower than 1 I would definitely say this company is that. Our pick up date was Tuesday and they said “they will be there from 2-5” and they never showed up. Wednesday comes around “okay I talked to the driver they will be there from 2-5 today” never shows up. Thursday.. I get in contact with the driver this morning “we will be there around 4-5 today” doesn’t show up. Now our electricity and water is cut off from this apartment and we have to move out with all of our furniture still in the house. How do you misjudge a pick up time SO bad??? Also if you try and reach out to them regarding the questions they do not answer. When our driver never showed up Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday no one was answering the phone… I would finally get a hold of a dispatcher and he gave me attitude because he’s “got a lot of things going on at work.” DO NOT CHOSE THIS COMPANY

I was assured that I picked the correct company to assist with my move to Phoenix. I never got a call to verify the inventory for my move so I was blindsided with an additional 3k at the time of pick up. My pick up was on a Friday and I was told that my inventory would be delivered on Tuesday. Monday evening I got a call stating that the truck hadn't even left the warehouse. Customer service doesn't pick up when I call and disconnects whenever I leave a message. I can't even get ahold of the sales team anymore! They state that I owe more money upon delivery but my delivery is days late. I packed food from 3 freezers from my move and lost all of my food because the delivery is going to be a week late. This company failed me on every front! No way to escalate the issue and I'm stuck with a high bill for lack of service. I wish I hadn't trusted Mike when he called. I should have gone with Pids or some other company. Too many surprises from delivery times to size of box requirements. No service!!!!. Save yourselves the hassle and go with someone else!!!
