I packed everything except for items that I was NOT sure how to pack. I asked Shawn for help and he said that his guys are pros and they'd take care of me. I asked Shawn to provide boxes for my move and I would pay for those boxes because I didn't want to get locked into using his company for the second half and of the move. On move day, there were three guys working in different rooms and I wasn't able to watch everything they did; they had two big used boxes that were filled with blankets. I left a few items of them to pack: my TVs, TV sound bar and surround sound system, lamps and pictures/paintings that I got while traveling overseas. Except for the TVs, they packed almost every other things haphazardly and without care. My surround sound speaker system were packed together in one box without wrappings any padding at all, and they even added a fire extinguisher in the same box, what could go wrong right. They took the two big tall boxes out of their truck and placed all my paintings and pictures in it, along with towel racks, ironing board and random items that scratched my paintings and almost destroyed my pictures. The lamp shades that they packed in two new medium boxes that I had on hand, were destroyed under the weight of other heavier boxes. At one point, I complemented them on being fast, I was surprised how quickly they were moving along in different rooms--now I know why they were so fast...just about anyone can pack at their speeds throwing everything in a few boxes without care. As they were leaving, I didn't think that I needed to tips them since I negotiated the moving price and didn't have much cash on hand, but apparently tipping is required--all three of them seemed upset and shunned me because they didn't get enough tip (they wanted hundreds of dollars in tips). If I had fully realized the damage they caused, I wouldn't have tipped them at all. I even sent Shawn pictures of how they packed my items to put in storage and he attacked me saying that I was telling his workers what to do, which couldn't be further from the truth--I didn't want them cramming my costly mountain bike into their truck and getting it scratched up with what looked like an old Walmart bike they had in their truck (outside of that, I couldn't even give you another instance that I gave them any direction). Having seen the carelessness they took on moving my things to temporary storage, there was no way I was going to hire them to do the second part of my move to the Tampa Bay area (that wouldn't happen for 1-4 months later as I needed to find a new house, added time for Closing timelines, etc.). So, I hire a different company to move my things, and then, had to figure out how to get his blankets back to him. I wouldn't hire this company or let them pack anything for me again. Also, after I posted my initial Google review, Shawn sent me rude, characterizing and degrading texts—very classy.

Our move with Adios moving took place mid-May on a brutally hot day (one of those Florida heat index warning days). Things could not have gone any smoother. From the first phone call to Sean back in April until the completion of the job in May, all went smoothly. Sean was responsive to phone calls in setting up the move and gave us a competitive rate. He notified us the day before of exact pickup time. The movers (Omar, Wayne, and Scott) arrived a bit ahead of time on moving day and were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. It was clear that they were experienced movers and knew exactly what they were doing. They took great care in protecting our items and easily coped with the stairs (moving out from our 2nd floor condo with no elevator) and the slow elevator and long walkway to our 4th floor condo. In fact, the president of our building told us that she appreciated that the movers had treated the recently renovated elevator with respect. We hope not to move again any time soon, but if we do, we would not hesitate for one second to hire Adios moving. We highly recommend this company to anyone planning a move in the area that they cover.

After researching multiple moving companies and reading their reviews it looked like there was no good option to choose from. Everyone had horror stories and mixed reviews. Then I found Adios and thought the reviews were too good to be true. But they really are that good! You talk directly with the owner (Sean) and he is very responsive. The 3 guys that showed up called the night before to confirm, arrived early and did a great job. Sean is also very flexible to make things work according to your schedule. Highly recommend it. Terrific company!!! I was referred to Adios Moving in the process of selling my place. Sean was very helpful and even gave me some pointers for securing a storage unit. Their prices are good, the entire team was very knowledgeable and very responsive. I had to text him a few times because the closing kept getting pushed off. They were great about trying to accommodate me. The day of the move Omar & Wayne showed up a few minutes before their scheduled time and immediately began loading the truck. The were very careful with my belongings and made me feel very at ease. It was very clear that both Wayne and Omar take pride in their work. They were personable, hard working, careful & very efficient! My storage was on the 3rd floor and I believe the unit was too small but they were able to strategically place my things and utilized the space extremely well.. Extremely happy with my choice of movers! Highly recommend!
