Today is moving day and now I can say I was ghosted by this moving company. Last week I called to confirm the pricing and availability for a two-man moving crew. I was given the rate of $80 per hour with a $60 trip charge. I don't remember off the top what the minimum number of hours were, either two or three (in my case it was zero). I was told that the moving crew would call me the day before the move to confirm. Not only did no one call me, but when I called yesterday no one answered the phone, so I left a message that nobody returned. I even called this morning to make sure that no one shows up since I made other arrangements, but of course no one answered. So I left yet another voicemail that hasn't been returned. I have never hired movers before because of a lack of trust and growing up I couldn't afford it. However, this move has been very stressful since I've had very limited help so I figured I'd spend the money in an effort to stay on schedule - a very tight one. But these folks added to my stress leaving me scrambling at the very last minute looking for help and a moving truck, which I didn't want to have to mess with but I might as well have in retrospect. It was suspicious that this place only had two reviews but I gave them the benefit of the doubt they earned their five stars. I can guarantee you this review is real as I sit here all sore, with my back feeling every piece of furniture I had to move yesterday myself in order to stay on schedule because of the lack of help I was counting on. RECOMMENDATION: If you have a couple of weeks before you need to move and want to try to leave early and are curious whether or not these people will show up, give them a try. They have the cheapest rate and if they don't show you can call someone else more dependable with time. If you have to move on a schedule, which almost everyone does, look somewhere else. It's not worth the aggravation of being abandoned on moving day just to say you tried saving some money. If zero stars was an option that is what I would give this place since they technically didn't provide me with any service.
