Do not haul for this company. I dead headed 388 miles to pick up a load, got to the shipper, checked in and waited for 2.5 hrs. After several trucks had gone around me. I went back inside to find out what was up with the load and was told it wasn't ready. I said ok and went back out to my truck. A few minutes go by and I get a call from these guys saying I must leave because I was loud, rude or something. Problem is I was on the phone the entire time I was in there and I was speaking to my bosses son. Someone is lying and it isn't me! I think this broker did this to get out of paying detention or truck ordered, not used. Be warned!

Just hauled a load with these guys. For future reference if any of you guys haul anything with ajc please pay attention to load information. I had a driver arrive at pick up and get loaded. According to BOL pallet count was 17 pallets with 43,800 in weight. I’ve hauled loads with 45k in weight and obviously we know there are ways to load trailers properly according to weight and count. Driver gets pulled in California highway patrol weigh station with 82,600 over the legal gross weight limit. Immediately contact the broker and we get a rude after hours person asking us how come we don’t go back to shipper. Obviously we are detained and won’t be allowed to leave until we fix it. Next day comes one of the brokers contacts me saying what’s the status. Obviously still detained. Brokers go back and forth with me saying the same thing “why can’t I go back to the shipper” and accordingly in the past carriers have been allowed to leave. Obviously that’s a lie. We give them a point of contact for the highway patrol and immediately they contact me after speaking with them and advise me they will send a box truck to fix the problem. This is where it gets real good. My driver has been stuck there for 12 hours. We advise them that pallet count and weight of the load isn’t accurate. We also advised them that shipper sealed the trailer when leaving so we couldn’t see the pallet count and it was 18 when we popped it open. Also weights were off by 5k lbs. we advise them that they screwed up at the shipper and let them know we need to be compensated for everything. The company is going to receive a fine for being over weight and not only that but our driver should be compensated for his detention and layover. We start arguing about that because it’s only right. Someone needs to pay. They gaslight trying to blame you as if you were the issue for the whole thing just to get out of not paying you. I advised them that I will not be delivering their load until I get a new rate confirmation for the time and losses. And ask for company information for them to handle the ticket we are going to receive. They threaten me by saying they will file a report and claim for holding the load “hostage” and will not be paying me for what should be paid. They try blaming the company for the truck being “heavy” so I provide an empty scale ticket. Truck was 37,600 in weight. That load weighed 48,000 in weight. 3k over legal. I have contacted them several times about compensation and suddenly no one answers. The “reps” or “brokers” I spoke to are Dominic jones, and aiken Davis. Aiken mainly was the one being rude and disrespectful. If you decide to do business with this company make sure to check your info.

AJC Logistics made false report to Freight Guard about carrier cancelling the load (carrier didn't cancel) and unethical deceptive practices (broker was informed 3 times). However, reporting false information is deceptive practice. Carrier informed broker twice about delay for pick up way ahead of the time, however broker failed to respond, even AJC tracking team was informed, but nobody was responding. AJC didn't do its job on timely responding to situation and blaming carrier for its own failure. Never dealing with AJC ever.

Dont recommend you guys do business with AJC. Its like working with robots. No remorse for drivers what so ever. Experience: Had a evening pickup out of Jersey and the shipper told the driver that the load was cancelled and that the broker should have notified him not to even come to the pickup. No one from AJC bothered to let us know. I came in the office the next morning writing Thomas Bryan a hefty email asking why we werent notified. His response was just sending a TONU. I asked him to explain to me why his after hours team didnt notify us of the cancelation, he flat out lied and told me he "just found out this morning " but the shipper told us the broker was notified? lol I told him to send us a layover since we LAID the truck OVER for the next day because of their stupid mistake. His response? " No. Tonu all i can. Thanks " If you ask me some companies dont really deserve to still be in business.

This company is great to work with. It's a great pleasure to work with Dalton Thomas. He is very professional, ethical and has a good team to do business with! He always go beyond his job title to make sure every driver or even details about the load are 100% accurate and good. I always appreciate his work ethics and I would definitely recommend him and AJC to other fellow truckers.
