His dedication and proactive approach ensured that I felt cared for every step of the way. The moving team displayed meticulous attention to detail, carefully cataloging each item and wrapping the delicate furniture in clean, padded blankets – some even receiving an extra layer of protection. As the team loaded the truck, I held my breath, praying for a smooth transition. Throughout the journey, Jazmin from Alex Movers remained a constant source of support. She promptly responded to my every call and message, providing updates on estimated times and truck locations. Arle, the skilled driver, further reinforced their commitment to exceptional service. Two days prior to the delivery, he reached out to inform me of the precise date and time of arrival. He also called again the day before and on the morning of delivery, ensuring I was in the loop every step of the way. In the end, my worries were unfounded. Not a single scratch marred any of my furniture as it was delicately unloaded from the truck. And not a dented or damaged box. I received estimates from 5 moving companies before deciding on Alex Moving & Storage. Jerry came to my home and made a thorough inventory list of our items and we received a very detailed quote for our cross-country move. Their price was competitive. Other companies I spoke to wanted me to provide my own inventory list before they would write a quote. How was I supposed to know how many boxes and what sizes I needed? Alex Moving & Storage packed our entire house, and they did a great job. The crew showed up promptly, was extremely careful with our belongings, and worked hard to get everything done. The crews that loaded and unloaded were equally careful and pleasant throughout the entire arduous task. The company responded to all of my calls promptly (and there were a lot of them!), and I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. I highly recommend Alex Moving & Storage.

We had a fantastic experience with Alex Moving and Storage on our recent move out of California. Jerry was responsive and thorough with preparing our quote, and the entire Alex team was great, from the packers, the loaders (who stayed late to finish a long job) and unloading team (who were cheerful during a storm and even with extra requests to reposition furniture), and our drivers, Joe and David. They were consistently careful with our belongings and our homes, our truck was actually able to be delivered ahead of schedule (for which we were grateful), and even with long, tiring days, the guys were pleasant and helpful. This is our second cross-country move with Alex Moving and Storage, and I would highly recommend them for any move. They are the ultimate moving professionals.

It all started with Jerry Durham, who was very professional, thorough, responsive, and friendly. We needed to move our mother's furniture & belongings from Oregon to Ventura and Jerry arranged it. He walked us through the estimate to make sure we understood all the costs, insurance options, etc. We noticed some negative reviews from customers who were surprised at final costs, and can't help but wonder if they didn't take the time to ask questions and understand the process up front. A cross-country move is a daunting undertaking due to the many unavoidable variables, so it's important to understand all the variables from the beginning, and we couldn't ask for someone more clear, thorough, and honest than Jerry. The driver, Luke, was friendly, professional, and was an excellent communicator. His helpers were careful with all the furniture, which arrived without a scratch. Before choosing Alex Moving & Storage, we got estimates from competitors and they were all higher, which confirmed our decision. The final cost was exactly what was estimated - it was a guaranteed price and we didn't need any extra services (extra stop, waiting time, etc.). The overall experience was smooth and professional, making a hard move as easy as possible. We would not hesitate to recommend Alex Moving & Storage to others.

Absolutely great at the job. Jerry was incredibly responsive and worked with every last minute change I had. Trucking team delivered on time, parcel pickup was on time, packing was very well done. I would have liked my dresser to be transported right side up, but there was no damage so it's just some extra clothes to be folded. Item list was great, ever was able to add extra boxes the day after initial pick up... I was lucky. Thanks again guys.
