The movers were rough with our boxes even though we put " fragile" on the boxes. Many broken items. The worst thing was what they did to our bedroom headboard. It made it to our destination safe and sound but the mover slipped and broke it to pieces when he unloaded the truck. I sent an email with pictures to the dispatcher but have received nothing but silence in return. This was over a week ago and we are still trying to find a replacement bed. We also over paid them based on their estimate but have not received a refund for the difference.

Allied was the worst moving company we have ever had ever had. These are a few of the photos. We had requested through Carry moving and storage that they pack the 2 glass Tiffany style lampshades, one was thrown in a plastic box that contained my hats and had been sealed the other was put in an old cardboard box and not wrapped at all. Our valuable glass was in the China cabinet was not wrapped at all. we were told it would be wrapped in dark paper and placed in dish packs, it was not and we assumed it is all broken. We have not opened it yet. Because we have no place to put it replaced. None of our mattresses were wrapped or boxed and were filthy and twisted when they arrived. We need to replace them. None of the furniture was placed in rooms as we had requested. We are being forced to hire movers to set up the furniture in the lower level. I do not recommend Carrie moving in storage of Knoxville or Allied Van Lines. In addition to the damage that was done in our new home. The movers also damaged the stairway walls in our previous home which we had just sold. We were told that the the driver would fix the walls and make them look brand new, they did not. I have pictures of the wall damage and of the repairs. I cannot stress how horrific this move was because of the damage done to our belongings by Allied.

Carey Moving of Knoxville did a very good job of moving our household from Knoxville to Alabama. Crystal, china and other usual household goods arrived Without damage. Two incidents spoiled an excellent rating. I received conflicting information about leaving files and documents inside file cabinets. I was told they could remain inside the cabinet. Shortly after Packers arrived I found a packer taking files out of my current business files and placing them in boxes But not keeping the files in the order they had come from. He had started with my current business files and was in the process of emptying my desk. The general manager arrived at that point and I took control of my files. I attempted to re-organise them in the order that they should be but there are some files that I have not found. The second incident involves a wicker rocker where the runners on the rocker were not properly protected. One runner broke at the Junction point with the chair and I’m uncertain whether this damage can be repaired.

I can't say enough good about this company! From the first interaction with Chris Waters to the logistic planning with Tracy to Phillip and his two crews for pickup and delivery and driving my belongings across country. They took the time to wrap everything and nothing arrived broken or even scratched! The whole experience was wonderful and very reasonable! Saved me many hours of frustration and hard work that I've endured in the past doing it myself and trying to get friends and family to help. This is the way to go with Allied moving services!!

Mover arrived with no help, although I was assured help would be available. It was left to myself, the driver and two friends to unload. The car delivery driver did not deliver the car. I had to get a ride 20 miles away to pick up my car. Talk is cheap. It takes money to buy whiskey. But it appears money doesn't buy you customer service in a moving company or a car carrier driver. Sorry. Far from impressed with Allied van Lines.
