The worst of the worst. There's a long story about how I got ripped off, but this is how they transported my VERY expensive splurge of a fridge. I went with a moving company vs a freight company because I was promised a lift to safely load and unload my fridge. The sales guy promised me princess treatment for my fridge that I love so much I'm considering giving her a name. Instead, a guy in a rented penske truck takes my electrician off the job to help him attempt to unload my fridge. He had no lift, only a single tiny roller cart with four 2" wheels. When he tried to lay the fridge on it's back to get it on the dolly and off the truck, it came crashing down. CRASHING DOWN. I'm no mover or appliance expert, but even I know you should NEVER lay a fridge on it's back. They tried to get it over the lip of the truck and on the ramp, but were unsuccessful. So the delivery man keeps the fridge on it's back, closes the truck and drives off to find someone from craigslist who can help him. I had to go back to work because who can take off hours from work for something that should take less than an hour. I was already there for over two hours. The panels on the back of the fridge are dented. The freezer drawer is pushed in and doesn't seal properly. And they cared so little about my fridge that they wrapped it around and around and around in PACKING TAPE!!!! On a STAINLESS STEEL FRIDGE. The extra salt in the wound is that I had to pay a surprise upcharge of $350 to properly care and protect my fridge! The photos of the packing tape...are no longer packing tape. What looks like packing tape is the adhesive that got baked onto my fridge. I believe it's ruined and all because they couldn't bother walking around it a bunch of times to shrink wrap it and just slapped some packing tape on instead. If I paid $350 for packing tape, I wonder how much extra I would have had to pay to get $2 in shrinkwrap? Now the getting ripped off part... I signed a contract with Allied Transportation Group to ship 9 appliances from Utah to California. I listed every single item that would be shipped and received an estimate of $1768.Imagine my surprise when I receive a phone call from a subcontractor Evergreen Shift Relo LLC, saying that because my washers and dryers (three sets) couldn't be stacked (in boxes from the factory) that my square footage increased. This would cost me an additional $549. Say what? If the estimator can't do his job, that's not my problem! My fridge was also larger and bulkier than they imagined and needed extra protections so I was being charged an extra $350 for that. I knew I was being ripped off so I immediately called Allied customer service. I was connected with someone who apologized and said there was "nothing she could do." I would need to write an email and address it to "upper management." I did that three times and haven't received a response. Only when I addressed "upper management" with a subject line of FTC FRAUD REPORT, did I receive a response. Spoiler alert...they said post and review and report wherever I wanted. They would refute it all. While on the phone with subcontractors, I tried to pull up my contract, but it had "expired." I should have access. Fraud? I called the estimator but couldn't leave a message. Later I found out my contract said I would receive something in writing if my estimate changed. I did not. On 7/15 Evergreen dated my signature 7/8. Fraud? The phone call was like the worst time share pressure presentation on the planet. Pay or loose my deposit and decide on the spot. My contract said Allied transportation would help me negotiate any changes in price. They did not. On top of that, when my shipment arrived, MY APPLIANCES WERE STACKED! I didn't use the additional square footage. I have emailed Allied transportation and they have denied all wrong doing. I spelled it out...if you paid for a first class airline ticket with extra space, and got moved to economy, you'd be totally fine with that? Apparently so. They DENIED ALL WRONG DOING. Evergreen Shift also has not returned calls.

I wouldn't even give them a 1 star. They charged us to haul our residential stuff and then made us pay extra to have the washer and dryer and refrigerator to be added. Then on pickup they refused to get the said appliances saying they didn't have the room to haul them unless we paid more in cash. The movers drank our moonshine that we had in the fridge and then smoked weed before loading the truck. When they arrived 3 days later from a 10 hr drive they refused to let us do a wire transfer via credit card and demanded cash only even after the driver said that they would take a credit card. Now our stuff is gone and I had things on there that I needed. Now I have to try and contact the VA to get what was taken from us so I have what all I need. I will never recommend this company to no one. Stay as far away as possible. The beginning rate is cheap but they will get you in the end. Being a disabled vet on a limited income now I have to figure out how I am going to get appliances after paying this company over 3000.00 to steal our belongings.

I highly don’t recommend this company for a move. So apparently this company is a broker agent where they get you set up with an actual moving company in your area. Going through this company you are at high risk of being charged more because they run things differently from the moving company. After paying an extra thousand dollars to our deposit every time we update our list… the movers came today and said that we would need to pay an additional $1200 for our motorcycle because Allied did not put enough cubic ft and we are over the 745 cubic ft. We have a 2 bedroom apartment and of course we would have more than 1000 cubic ft. We were already charged $200 for the bike. I heard it is impossible to get your money back. Today has been very stressful something that used to be $3500 is now now over $5000 and counting. Next time we are moving ourselves. Don’t recommend

DO NOT use this company! They scam. They add on thousands on pick up and claim they tell you thing that they never did and pretty much call you a liar. They disassembled my furniture and charged me extra for the backs and extra for the posts the my bed. Whatever you tell them to put on your moving list you will be charged extra for anything and everything. The movers dropped my stuff 5x and my things were falling over in the truck because they were in such a rush. The movers NEVER gave me a copy of the paperwork of where they charged me extra. They also told me it would be here on a certain date and now it's 3weeks later and still waiting. They claim well we told you it takes X number of business days which they never did and also NEVER told me it was a shared load and that they would be taking all my things off the truck into storage. They knew I was a new widow and a female doing this all alone that didn't know all the ins and outs. WATCH OUT!!!

Do not go though this company. They only take checks, cashiers checks, or money orders. The deposit is non-refundable. They don't communicate very well and have very poor customer service. Pay attention to the name, I thought it was Allied Van Lines, which has much better customer service. I have been trying to get a hold of Allied Transportation Group for a week. I was told since it was going from a long distance move to a local same day move, there would be discounts. After paying a deposit of $1085.11 (which you only have 48 hrs to decide) they still want to charge me $4202.66 to move 10 miles away plus we only have a queen bed frame, washer and dryer, some shelves, stove, wooden electric fireplace. We were going to do all the small stuff and just get help with the big heavy stuff. We booked this months ago and they wouldn't let me update what needs moved. So glad we have 3 weeks to complete the move. Very expensive for a local move. I feel completely scammed.
