There is a three day waiting period to speak to a nurse. They will not file paperwork to insurance companies in order for you to get prescriptions filled. They are understaffed and underqualified. Patient care is not a priority. I am still waiting after three months for approval for CGM equipment and infusion sets to operate my insulin pump. They will let you die slowly while asking you to be patient.Your location Mercy Clinic Endocrinology - Tower West 6801 Rogers Ave 3rd Floor, Fort Smith, AR 72903 Medical clinic Jerry Wilson 117 points 2 minutes agoUnderstaffed and underqualified staff. Terrible patient care. Not really caregivers so much as salespeople for Tandem diabetes and Dexcom. Poor communication skills and cannot provide continuity of care. UPDATE. I reached out to the Amanda's nurse when cgm's and infusion sets were denied. She said I don't know what to tell you. After a month she still had no answers and asked me if I wanted her to pay for them out of her own pocket. I spoke to her supervisor, Desiree, who told me Mercy wasn't updating my insurance info correctly. I got more denials. I spoke with Jo Ann , Desiree's supervisor, who assured me it would be taken care of. Last week after three months of no help I called them all again. Jo Ann would not return my calls. Someone named Tina in admin would not return my calls. I did get infusion sets this week but no cgm's. It looks like they care when they post to your complaints but in reality they're just going to hide until you leave.
