If I could give this company a 0 I would. They talked so sweet until the day ANOTHER company came to pick up my belongings on moving day. This company sells your contracts to other companies without telling you and they don’t tell you the charges in detail. The other company came and up-charged me. They other company they sold my contract to was a place called “Indeed Movers” my stuff during the moving process must have been thrown around, looked like the company had a snowball fight with my boxes/belongings. My boxes were all smashed, dented, ripped and mutalated. I could have paid a garbage truck to move my things and it would have looked better. My bed which I wrapped myself with a moving bag was opened up at some point during travel and re wrapped, it came to me looking like it was scrunched up and curvy. I might need a spine doctor after sleeping on it. Don’t get me started on contacting the company. Every time I would call to see where my things were or to see an update on delivery date they would say “we don’t know, call another day”. I could get in touch with the president before getting answers from them. I can’t express how disappointed I am in this company. This is the worst moving experience I have ever witnesses. I do not recommend!!!!!!! Go for a u-box or another company that does not touch your belongings.

Just avoid this company at all cost. Their quotes are way off as they are just trying to have you sign the contract and put a down payment. Once signed, it would be very hard to reach anyone and the lady who always answers the phone would just say that she'll give a call back once she gets in touch with dispatch but never does. Here we are clueless as to when our belongings would arrive. Update: Our stuff arrived 2 days later than scheduled. Worse, a lot of the items were damaged beyond repair. Was not able to take photos of everything but here are some.

This is a 3rd party company. The 3 moving men that came to the house & loaded were professional. However, it was very difficult to find out when the furniture would be delivered. I was told 2-8 days then I call the company & they said it can be up to 21 days. It says in the contract they set up anything dismantled at pick up. One man showed up to deliver, he did not speak English. He did not re-assemble anything; not the bed or dresser to mirror. Some furniture was left in pieces in the bedroom, the mattress & box spring was left in the kitchen & a large pottery vase was broken in half. The man demanded a larger tip and became agitated when he didn’t get one. When I called to complain no one returned my call and no compensation was offered. This move was over priced and I didn’t even get the service offered. I recommend reaching out to movers directly to save money, deal with the movers directly and get what you pay for.

I used American Heritage to move my family from Charlotte NC to San Diego CA. The movers arrived a few hours after the time frame given that’s the only negative thing I can say. Once they got to the home they were very fast and efficient. They had everything loaded and on the way to CA within a few hours. Mike the foreman was very nice and let us know exactly what to expect from start to finish. I made sure to give him a nice tip once the job was complete. Everything arrived in one piece even my mother's Grandfather Clock that I was very nervous about. Anyway I would highly recommend American Heritage to my friends and family!

Absolutely do not use this company for your move - you will have nothing but regrets - they will give you a low estimate that is correct to what you tell them and then the day of your move your price will sky rocket in price - repeat, do not use this company you will be frustrated and out a TON of money
