I called several moving companies for quotes on our cross country move and went with American Moving because Bryce was super thorough and honest on our initial zoom call and inventory check. Their prices were reasonable too, not the cheapest but also not the most expensive in comparison to all the other quotes. They sent a team of 3 to move our 2bed 2bath apt into Uhaul boxes and they were quick and efficient minus a few hiccups like rain and how much room we had in each box which added an extra hour but thats out of their control. Oscar Jimmy and Alfredo were great! Nick was also quick to respond and nice to work with when we had questions about logistics and costs. I'd definitely recommend!

I hired American Moving and Storage based on reviews in two different media. The three workers that were assigned the job were worth their weight in gold. The level of professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail when wrapping, moving and packing the furniture in their truck for the final move was second to none. They worked quickly with a designed plan in mind, minimizing the hours needed to complete the job. Their rates were better than most and certainly worth every penny. I will strong recommend American Moving and Storage to all my friends and family for their moving needs.

The American Moving and Storage crew did a fantastic job moving our household goods! First, working with management to get an initial quote was easy and clear to understand. Second, the moving crew was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our furniture did not have any damage during the move. Overall, I could not recommend a better moving company to work with and trust for moving services!

I’ve never used movers before, but my experience with American Moving & Storage was a positive one. From the beginning, Nick answered all my questions and provided a detailed quote. On move day, Oscar’s team showed up on time and did an excellent job. The guys were polite, professional, and hard working. They did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend this company for all moving needs.

The initial process was fantastic. Bryce walked us through everything and indicated that how we packed seemed good. Where things went sideways was during the move and the post move. The initial quote was about 20% less than our actual bill. That's a bit of a miss. They also broke a piece of our antique pool table and essentially replied with"if you find someone to fix it we will pay" - unclear why we even paid for the additional insurance - don't recommend doing so for your move. The pool table move was also included in the initial quote, but didn't end up in the final invoice, creating some additional chaos for us. The team also left our house with a pile of "we won't move that" which never came up during our initial discussion. Overall they are 'good'. The business prides themselves on hitting the mark with quotes and providing extra service (e.g., tv boxes, wardrobe boxes, etc.) and they fall short. We did receive a slight refund based on the missed quote but it all felt forced and hard fought on our end. The "well insurance won't pay for that" line and the email stating we signed a document the day of delivery stating everything was fine, left us feeling like we got taken. Overall, just be thoughtful about using them. Left us feeling underwhelmed and a little oversold.
