I just went to see Dr.Arbella for swelling in my neck and lots of pain after being just discharged from the hospital. I went in to see what she can do for me and she denied to see me over $100 that I didn’t have a card to pay with. I did have $50 cash and told the front receptionist to bill be the rest. She went and asked the doctor and I over heard her say no I can not see her if she doesn’t pay. I didn’t realize we live in a third world country where if you don’t pay you get denied for healthcare. Shame on her for being a money people over patient care. Never going to her clinic again denying healthcare.

Where do I begin. I should have read her reviews before coming in, but this was my boyfriends childhood doctor. My boyfriend and I had asked twice if they take Aetna insurance / considered in network. They said yes, twice & had no problem scanning my card and taking my co pay. She tried to prescribe me an anti-biotic that would negatively impact my embryo. She told me to google if it was ok for me to take...and then I got a $403.65 bill for 3 visits..... for OUT of network prices!! Even though they confirmed it was In network .... This office just wants to pocket your cash. I have Aetna / work in tech, I have some of the best insurance you can have (even though the front desk said Aetna is a scam... the irony) and obviously I would never go willing go to a place that is out of network .... Instead of being helpful, they told us that we need to meet a deductible, but that's only if we are out of network!!! Which they weren't understanding the concept. I don't even pay a cent outside of co pay for specialists why would I do that for a regular primary doctor who doesn't even know which medicine to give me while pregnant?! My second visit was because she wouldn’t return my phone calls and then was charged $96 for a phone call because she tried to prescribe me an anti biotic that would have aborted my fetus on top of their false verbal claim they take Aetna / it’s in network & they advertise online they do as well. They don’t have a public company email so you’re forced to come onsite so they can charge you. Do NOT come here, I had a better experience at the ER / a crowded urgent care in my lifetime.

Dr. Arbella Sarkis is my primary care physician and the best general practitioner for which I have seen for medical care to date. Her level of patient care and concern is second-to-none. Dr. Sarkis takes the time to go through blood labs 'line-by-line' and explains (in great detail) what they mean, what needs to be fixed and why. The first time she did that I put my arm on her shoulder and told her...you are a wonderful doctor! She talked to me for over an hour about my medical condition and did not rush me to see other patients (like doctors often do). In addition, on her own time and without charging me, she called to check to see how I have been doing. On top of ALL that she has the nicest, kindest, front desk staff. By now I feel like they are my friends. The are helpful, easy to talk to, call you back to answer questions, and you never have to wait for your appointments (they are always on time). I am surprised anyone would leave a less than a perfect score for Dr. Sarkis. I will continue to see her as long as she lives and works in the Bay Area. God Bless her and her wonderful, hard-working staff.

I actually never had been seen by a general practitioner; so happy now, that my first and hopefully only GP is dr Sarkis! Dr Sarkis and all of her staff were very professional and personable and made me feel at ease. Dr Sarkis spent quiet a bit of time going over my medical history and I never felt like she was in a hurry to end the office visit- I was there for almost an hour and there was no waiting in a wait room. Dr sarkis is more like a country doctor but with up to date practice and procedures I highly recommend this doctor and her staff A+

After my annual check by visiting Dr. Sarkis in 2020, I suddenly received a call from Dr. Sarkis. Without explaining that the call was a consultation and subject to a charge, the doctor just walked me through my lab test results, with nothing to be concerned. The call was about 5 mins. Then a bill of phone call consultation of ~$75 was issued. I called the office right way when I noticed there was a charge. I explained that the doctor should tell me in advance the phone call would be charged and asked my consent. The office representative agreed and told me that the bill did not need to be paid. However, after 11 months, when I came back to the office today for my annual check again, the doctor and office representative denied what they agreed and told me before. The bill is still valid. I was very upset about their dishonest and want to disclose such experience, warning people not to use Dr. Sarkis's health care services. They charge you improperly and secretly.
