My children have been a patient of Dr. Rodriquez for four years already. Love how caring and attentive he is, how he listens to your concerns and wants the best for my kids. All his staff is great, very welcoming, and always trying to accommodate in any way they can help.

I went to Dr. Rodriguez office cause my son's doctor is Dr. Sosa was close for the week of spring break and my son was feeling under the weather. When I arrived at Dr. Rodriguez office, the clinic was empty and thought it was close. No, the staff were very rude and told me they don't accept walk-ins and needed an appointment but then ask me what insurance I had and they didn't even glance at my insurance and said they don't accept THAT insurance and told me to go to another clinic or hospital. I guess they didn't want to work or weren't in the mood for anything. If they were nice they could have said ,to start with, "I'm sorry but doctor is not in and need to give you an appointment" or suggested me another doctor but they didn't want to even bother. I was super upset. I hope this gets to the actual doctor so he can see what kind of staff they have.

To repeat what most reviewers are saying, the doctor is an excellent doctor. However, the wait times are pretty bad. It used to be that you’d wait 2-3 hours to see the doctor. Now, it’s currently almost impossible to even get an appoint if your child is sick. I’m still taking my kids for their yearly checkups, but I’m having to resort to taking them to a clinic anytime they’re sick. The staff seems to be overwhelmed. I hope they find their groove because I really want to stay with this doctor. My son has been battling an ear infection and I’ve been trying to get an in person appointment with the doctor for a while. No success. So, I’ve been taking my son to vital med where he got two rounds of antibiotics. He has an appointment next week for his yearly physical with dr Rodriquez and I called to see if they could move it up because my sons fever keeps coming back, and they said the doctor wouldn’t be in those days so they’re even having to reschedule appts. Sigh. It’s very frustrating to feel this helpless. Update (year later): It’s still difficult to get appointments. My daughter woke up feeling sick and since it was 10 am I decided to call. The answering service answered in the same annoyed voice they always use. So I just asked “are they already out for the day?” And sure enough yes. Even though they state they close at 1 and it was 10. Made an appointment at the same emergency clinic I always have to go to that tells me they just treat the emergencies and follows ups need to be with her doctor. Sigh. So frustrating.

Absolutely love Dr. Rodriguez and his staff! They are always super attentive and actually care about their patients. The wait time is definitely worth it because you don’t get passed off to a random nurse practitioner, you actually see Dr. Rodriguez and get his amazing patient care! The staff has always helped my daughter get seen on the day of when she is sick! Definitely recommend if you are new mom looking for a patient doctor and caring staff for your baby!

Dr. Rodriquez is an amazing, patient Doctor. Always walks in with a smile and has a joyful greeting. Dr. Rodriquez takes the time to have a conversation with our little ones and seems to care enough to carry on the conversation even if it’s just about some cool shoes my baby is wearing. I really admire how he will sit and listen to your concerns. His new front office staff and nurses are patient and approachable. They are understanding and willing to help.
