MIKE! CHIEF! JAMAL! What a Team of guys! These men saved the day!!! The original movers we hired couldn't finish the job after not being able to get our ginormous, sectional couch up a curving flight of stairs. The previous moving company gave us the run-around about scheduling a time to hoist our couch up and over the outside balcony to finish the moving job. Since multiple days passed, and we were expecting company that evening, I googled and found "Athens Moving Experts" and read that they were able to hoist furniture to high places to get it in the house. Mike answered the phone last Saturday afternoon, and he and his team were able to meet me within the hour!!! Mike, Chief, and Jamal were able to hoist a 2-piece, very large sectional up & over the balcony to save the day!!! Once getting the huge sofa into our great room, they took time to carefully ensure that it was lined up and connected properly. Before moving the couch over the balcony, they made sure that it was properly covered and wrapped. Mike also covered the railing of the balcony, and the team was careful not to cause any damage to our new home as they pushed each piece of the sectional through the back sliding glass door. These guys REALLY saved the day, and they did so efficiently, carefully, and cheerfully! I give them all the STARS, and I will keep their information for future moving jobs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thanks guys!!!

From start to finish the move was great! We moved from NC to Arkansas. We were assigned Ibrahim and Freddie. Before I discuss their work I want to share how sweet the two of them are! They made the moving experience fun. They have positive energy and were so fun to talk and laugh with as we watch them load our things. As they loaded everything we didn’t have any concern. They were so gentle and efficient with our belongings. They kept us updated on their drive and were on time the day of move in. The day of move in, they got everything in quickly and put everything in its respective room. It was all around great. I never used movers before and I’m glad that my first time was with them. Thank you so much Ibrahim and Freddie for your hard work and awesome personalities! Job well done! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

We had the bad luck of moving on a day with non-stop heavy rain. Ibrahim, Freddie, Johnny, and Ali worked through it with no complaints. They were efficient, careful, and friendly despite the weather. They went above and beyond to protect our belongings. We highly recommend them!

Update I had 2 different movers today, Ferro and Richard. They were fast and great too. I'm in my apartment, Time to unpack. YEAH! Thanks guys. Earlier today, I had a move scheduled with Athens Moving Experts. John and Kelo arrived and moved my belongings, mostly boxes rather quickly. Note: I was located on the 3rd level with no elevator. They both are a pleasure to work with and provided ultimate customer service.

I had a rushed move to TX from NC. Athens had to take my stuff from home to a storage facility, and a long-distance mover took it from there to TX. Firstly, next time I move interstate, I would hire a full-service mover—people who pack and move themselves—because holding accountability is difficult when you split pack and move. It was a large house >6000 sq ft. A lot of stuff accumulated over years. Atehn's came thrice. On May 22, Jun 3, and Jun 5. The first day was OK but the next two days, the packing at best was atrocious. Once they arrived in TX, at least 50% of the boxes needed to be labeled AT ALL. (which room). Several boxes were sloppily packed - shoes dumped in one box, where some sensitive women's shoes just had to be trashed. Bottles of nail polish were all thrown into a box, with breaks and leaks, and kitchen stuff was all thrown in with abandon. I had to open every box to determine what was in it to decide whether to repack (till I buy my new home or use it while I stay in my rented place. Only use them if you have time to watch over what they are doing. Some of the crew were good, but when you have 6-8 people working on your home, you trust the "experts." It did not work in my case. They may have a good reason why all this happened. I can only talk about my experience and my stuff being treated with carelessness. Sorry Athens. I did my bit. I was good with your crews. I tipped well and you guys charged well. I did not get what I paid for.
