This is our third move with Ballantyne & Beyond moving with the first two flawless however third time was not a charm. As previous moves had been made certain assumptions regarding the volume of household goods were made. As an unusual amount of exercise equipment and a hot tub was involved in this move this was an error on my part which I take responsibility for. I say this a Ballantyne did not visit instead going off the previous move records. The crew arrived shortly before 9am 06-21-24, within the first hour one of the crew indicated this was a two-day job, early warning of what was to come. By 2pm it was clear the 2 26' trucks would not be sufficient to hold the volume of goods. At that point I was advised the exercise equipment, outdoor furniture and all the goods in the garage could not be moved due to lack of space. To add to the issue contractually we had to be out of the home by 6pm 06-22-24. I was further advised Ballantyne could not return on 06-22-24 to gather the remaining goods due to scheduling conflicts. More on this shortly. The trucks arrived at the new property around 6pm 06-21-24 to begin the unloading process. As the new home would be undergoing renovation much of the household goods were to be offloaded into 2 20' containers. The unloading process went on past dark concluding at 10pm. I have attached photos of how our possessions were loaded into the containers. As you can see the crew was very irritated by the long workday which is clearly reflected in the manner in which our household goods were loaded into the container. What actually makes this issue worse is the lack of response from Ballantyne on this issue. These exact photos were provided to Ballantyne on 06-25-24 when this was discovered. We did not receive any type of response to the photos which in itself is a response. In addition, no receipt was provided when payment was made the eve on 06-21-24 also requested which was not responded to. I again requested the receipt 06-28-24 being told I would receive 07-01-24. As of 07-02-24 still no receipt. In order to gather our remaining household goods we rented a 26' U-Haul as earlier indicated we had to be out of the house by 6pm 06-22-24, Ballantyne could not return prior to 06-23-24. Obviously, we were not at all happy by how a disgruntle crew treated our possessions however our bigger issue lies with the management of Ballantyne and the total no response and lack of follow-up. Please do your due diligence and ask questions especially as it relates to the time frame allotted for the move.

Today we use Ballantyne & Beyond Moving to move our furniture and boxes to storage. Both Justin and D worked very hard and took great care of our furniture. They made sure everything was wrapped well and stacked appropriately all while making sure not to damage our walls. They were VERY professional and showed up on time. Their estimate of how long it was going to take was spot on. We have no hesitation in using them again when we need to take our items to our new home.

Worked directly with the owner to move my family of 4 on a rather tight timeline. Responses were prompt and detailed. Quote was accurate and reasonable; the service by both Steve and his team were above par justifying the price difference. The movers showed up early, we’re respectful of my lawn, and had our house emptied is almost an hour. Our move in was equally as smooth with the team sensitive as to where we wanted everything even offering to let us re-arrange everything once our larger items were in place. I’m not sure of another mover I would consider for my next move. Super happy with my experience.

Ballantyne and Beyond was so quick and careful with moving our belongings down three flights of stairs! They made the moving process quick and easy, even in bad weather. They were careful with the floors in our new home by placing mats on the floor to prevent scrapes and dirt. The movers were super friendly and professional. We recommend Ballantyne and Beyond to anyone who wants quick, efficient, and affordable movers!

A 5 star review for a moving company? You bet!! Ballantyne and Beyond has cracked the code on moves... Clear communication up front, expectations set and met regarding time and cost, and a very friendly crew who were careful with our items and home. We had a difficult move out of a 100 year old condo building in Uptown - a very small elevator, busy street, large furniture... Brian, Tony Jimmy and Eason made it look easy! We were all smiling on our front porch after the last of our stuff was placed in our new home, Moving is so stressful - you can manage some of this stress by hiring Ballantyne and Beyond. Highly recommend this local company
