These are stand people through and through. The movers were very gentle and careful with my belongings. Incredibly diligent and aware of fragile items. They came with their own material to wrap my mirror and dresser to avoid scratches and breaks. The office gentlemen were also incredibly pleasant and knowledgeable. Would give 0 stars if I could. We used Pauly movers. First of all they showed up late. We were quoted $522 in the morning which was the price I always intended to pay. After they loaded up our things which they damaged, they held our things hostage and called me with a new quote that was triple our original price $1600. They would not release our things until we paid the full amount. The movers damaged all the walls on our brand new home, and while the workers were nice they did alot of damage to our brand new home. They were supposed to put our bed together and we paid for it but then claimed they didn't have the correct tools, Tony said they would send someone out the next day and compensate us for all the damage to our walls. He has yet to respond to ANY of our messages. This company is a fraud. They will go over their time you are quoted on purpose taking phone breaks etc, hold your home furniture hostage, and then take your money and not even complete their services. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I reported to the BBB if you had this experience you should too.

The crew was exceptionally courteous, attentive, and supportive. The boss demonstrated a genuine appreciation for effective communication and understanding between himself as the business owner and me as the customer. As I remodel my room, I anticipate utilizing their services again in the near future.

I write this email to state how terrible my experience was with your company. To begin we had agreed on a start time of 11:45am latest 12:15pm. Your crew did not get there until 1:20pm following them showing up late they did not have any tools to break down racks and the treadmill as stated on the list I sent to your team the day prior. On top of that my father and I helped carry items and brake down the racks while one the of other guys went to look for tools needed (he was gone for an 1hrs and we still in need of various tools). The treadmill (price $2700) and the smith machine (price $3500)were dropped multiple times! Now the treadmill is not turning on. And was left at the location of pick up. As of now I am out $2700 dollars on top of the additional $800 extra you charged me. Lastly we were suppose to arrive to the shipping container no later than 5pm or I would be charged for delays. The equipment arrived at 6:15pm. I rented a 20ft space and because the unloading was not organized I will now be paying an additional $1500. (The loaders were nice and eventually finished 90 percent of the work and I tipped $50) Let me mind you this was all to assist kids and provide a positive impact in their lives and community. So I am truly saddened by this experience.

Moving with Pauly Movers was the worst experience. I will do my best to be concise as to why. When scheduling the move, we informed them of how much stuff we had (we itemized it for them), and that we had two stops. We rented a U-Haul to avoid being charged for two round trips. They said 3 movers would be what we needed and 6 hrs. I told them to move where we were at the time took five movers and about 8 hrs. The guy scheduling says, “my guys are pros. While some movers may take hours and charge you more, we can get it done in less time!” I said ok. Day 1 (yes it took multiple days)- they were 1.5 - 2 hrs late for 8am move. The movers were nice, but didn’t wrap anything like we were told. They complained the whole time about how the office “tricked” them into accepting this job with only 3 guys. They also took 15-20 mins between each trip sometimes only carrying 1-2 items or no items just so they could all come up and go down to the truck together. In fairness, we did have a long hallway and an elevator. Needless to say, they ran out of time. I asked if they could help us load the king sized mattress and 55” tv onto our U-Haul. They said yes. But instead, got in their truck and left. We did not make it to the second stop. Unloading at the new place, they brought in one item at a time. They damaged the walls and scratched the floors. This is a new construction home and so there were absolutely no dings or scratches anywhere. We had to finish loading the U-Haul with the remaining things in our apartment ourselves. In fairness to the movers, I know they were tired. I don’t expect anyone to injure themselves for a job. My issue is not with the movers persay, but the whole experience. I am not happy with the damage but they were struggling to lift the furniture. I know they were tired. And they should have been. We needed more people. Day 2- they came back to help with the second stop. They were almost 4.5 hrs late. I will say, these guys were incredibly efficient (one was the same from the day before) and careful with our things. We finished in less than three hours. Here is the most egregious part— we were originally quoted about $1,800 for the move. They ended up invoicing us, for both days, almost $6400. I negotiated down to almost $5800. The actual bill was more than 3xs the original quote. The second day, they also tried to charge us more than they quoted us for a five hour move when the move only took 3 hrs. During the scheduling process, we were very clear regarding how big the move was. We also told them how big the house was. I don’t understand how this happened. This was the worse and most expensive move of my life. I’ve moved overnight and long distance in the past five years for less. This was the worst. I would NOT recommend this company. I would give negative stars and that is not to the movers. They did damage something’s but I know they were physically exhausted and doing their best. The office nickels and dimes you and drag out the move to take more time and charge you more. They also have added fees that are based on a percentage of the total cost. So the more they charge you in one area it makes the overall charge go up even more than the original increase. I have to also find out how to get the walls and floors fixed. I added two pictures of two of the 6-7 damaged areas. Just yikes.
