There should be a 0 star rating for this kind of companies... Horrible service after they load everything into a truck (which btw isn't even theirs, they rent it out from other companies). Their move-in services are the worst I've ever experienced! The guy kept saying "oh we don't do that" "oh you should call whoever you got the contract with because I'm just subcontracted"... So there's no liability, they break or damage your furniture and pay you pennies for it. I had a 12000 bed that I decided them not to even touch further when arrived because I was afraid they'd break it... I had to pay extra $150 for the bed MFR to assign someone to reassemble it. They left all they effin trash in my house, they complaint about having to rearrange everything and left me with a complete mess. The service wasn't delivered and the move-in guy came unprepared, without the necessary tools to perform his job and on top of that he became an A-hole when I started pointing out the problems and damages to my items.

It was easy to book but the quote given by the company was not correct: they didn't tell me that I have to pay for each additional 75ft after, and all the extra fees, plus the way to calculate the price of my move once it is added to the truck! Also, from pick up to delivery it didn't take 7-10 days as promised but one month! However, the move-out team was very courteous and professional, and they packed my items very well - nothing was broken. The move-in team was an independent contractor unpleasant... I am not sure that I will work again with Beacon Moving.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Do not use this company unless you want a potential lawsuit on your hands. 0 stars for the sales rep, customer service rep, dispatcher, foremen, way out till the movers. There’s no supervisor to talk to for more information. They do not own these truck and rent other companies to move the your furniture. They forgot some of my items in their warehouse. They never even made it on the truck to get to me and they gave me other people boxes! Now I’m at home missing my items and have other people things. I call the company and no one ever answers the phone! It’s impossible to get in touch with anyone. My items were damaged during delivery and the movers said they cannot do anything about it.I would have to call the company because they do not work for the company, they only drive their own trucks! They did not assemble my furniture nor help get anything into my apartment. I did everything myself! They told me I would have to pay them an additional $300 to move things into my apartment. This is the worst company I’ve ever done business with. Do not use them! I’m sure they have multiple lawsuits open for not complying with their contracts.

This company provides false quotes of the minimum allowance in the truck even though you provide them with an exact itemized list of the items you are moving. I was quoted $1,700 and once the movers came they explained the reps mislead you to get your business, my finalized cost was $2,700 once everything was loaded on the truck... even though the rep CONFIRMED I would not pay additional charges on moving day.. The sales rep that helped me was very responsive and helpful however now I know it is all just an act to gain your business. The movers themselves were on-time, professional and friendly. They wrapped all of my furniture with blankets which was re-assuring HOWEVER... when I walked out to the truck I saw one of the movers literally throwing my dresser over his head onto the rest of the furniture multiple times until it landed on-top of the pile. I don't have much confidence that my things will arrive without damage, very concerned about my tv's... Movers also confirmed the delivery date is NOT guaranteed, another lie I was told by the sales rep on the front end. For the amount your going to end up paying use a real professional moving company!

Probably the worst moving company that exists I would never recommend this to anybody moving local or out of state. Not professional and very rude over the phone. It took an entire month to receive out things when we were told we would receive it in a week. You never talk to the same person over the phone it’s always someone else so you are reexplaining your situation over and over again and getting a different story every time we called. When we arrived in our new home I had to call to see where the truck was and the first person I spoke to said the movers were going to call me shortly. 5 hours later I called back and talked to a different person so said our truck did not even leave their lot yet. Very unfortunate situation. If I were moving again I would rent a UHaul and do it myself. Some of our expensive furniture was damaged and our things were mixed up with someone else’s move. They took apart furniture to fit in the truck and when it was delivered we were told we had to put everything back together. The quote you receive is nothing near the final price, this is a very deceiving company and the movers actually told us they delete bad reviews to make themselves look better to potential customers. I would give them 0 stars if I could. They say everything is in the contract but they hover over you when you are going through it and rush you to sign it. Nothing was explained properly and even our boxes were not taken care of properly with them being ripped open upon delivery. Would never recommend I don’t even know how they are still in business.
