Truck 824/trailer 3740 almost ran myself and other cars off the road coming down the east side of monteagle on 24 n had the nerve to honk at me bc i was doin the speed limit on the downgrade which is 45! Unsafe and unprofessional asf... n once passed in my mirror driver was still all over the road... writing thus at 945 ct happened 10 to 20 mins ago

My husband worked for Beacon for 3 months. We left because we were not making enough to support our family. We sat every weekend because their “planners” didn’t plan runs for the weekend. If you have an issue with the truck and call the “shop manager, Chris” doesn’t do anything but say call the shop only to have the shop either not answer or play around to run down your drive time and be stuck for hours somewhere. When we said something about it we were told by several employees that it’s always been this way it will never change. We advised dispatch of our last day, we brought the requested load back to the yard, cleaned our truck spotless and signed our termination paper in 7/30/2024. The company offers performance bonuses if you run 9000 plus miles a month of five more cents a mile. He ran over 10,000 miles before the 30th of July and was told after the last paycheck was mailed that we were not getting the bonus because we didn’t work the entire month! So one day which was the 31st. Nowhere did it state that as being a stipulation for getting the performance bonus nor was I told of this stipulation. The ONLY stipulation was that you ran 9000 miles or more. When we called Randy Cummins about this and left a voicemail he had Billie Joe Little call us stating that the reason we didn’t get our bonus was because of the ONE day and she had never heard of that before and she has been there for years. Tried to send an email to Randy Cummins and he blocked his email, texted him and he never responded. The company I now work for has offered us legal assistance to get the over $ 500 bonus we are owed. Performance bonuses are not at their discretion if the stipulations are met to receive it. They are very petty and get butt hurt when you quit. Their butts must really hurt to be this petty. I was even told I was 100% eligible for rehire!!! I was never late with a load and never refused a load so it doesn’t matter to them how good you are. I would avoid this company if you can go elsewhere, this would be a last ditch effort to go there.

Awesome place of employment. Plenty of miles, always keeping me moving. No sit time, awesome hometime and good equipment. No micro management here which is great. How much you make here is entirely up to you. These guys treat you like the professional you are and work with you in any and situations you may have. Billie Jo is an amazing driver manager as well as all of the driver managers. These guys work as a team and they all work together. Safety here is second to none in my book and the operations manager is always there to do what needs to be done when you need something or need help with an issue. Randy is the only operation manager that does not pass the problem you may have to someone else. He works with you until your issue is resolved himself and makes sure you are taken care of. I can honestly say that you are a person here not just a driver ID number or a truck number. They address you by your name not your driver ID or truck number. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a steady pay check and consistent miles. What I have found at this company I have never seen before at any other company. This is more like a family than a trucking company and you won’t find this kind of atmosphere at any other trucking company. These guys are really an awesome team and I am honored to have found these guys.

WHEN I WORKED FOR BEACON MY DISPATCHER KEITH SAID I COULD HAVE HOMETIME MY WIFE WAS IN THE TRUCK SO WHEN I TOOK HOMETIME HE THEN SAID I WASNT SUPPOSE TO GO HOME. THEN BEACON PUT UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE ON MY DAC REPORT!! THIS HAS BEEN YEARS AGO BUT ITS HURTING ME TO GET TRUCK JOBS TO THIS DATE!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HEARTLESS COMPANY!!!!
